Chris Brown

I agree. But maybe he isn't sorry and that is ok to me. WE don't know what happened before he hit her. If he lied and said he felt bad when he didn't, that would be worse.

WTH? Seriously, WTH?

Maybe he isn't sorry and that is okay with me?
Because beating the hell out of women is excusable if you are a Black man and the woman "gets in your way," "pushes your buttons" or "pokes you with a stick"? Heck, if she looks at you cross-eyed, punch her lights out and pat yourself on the back for doing her a favor and putting her in her place. :headache:

We don't know what happened before her hit her? Well, I'll guarantee you this. Her face wasn't bruised and battered and her lip wasn't busted BEFORE he hit her. Odds are, she looked like a presentable human being before he beat her like a cheap piece of meat. But then, I guess in your eyes, the mouthy wench had it coming......:rolleyes1 I mean, we should at least give Prince Chris the benefit of the doubt since he must be the real victim.

If he lied and said he felt bad when he didn't, that would be worse. No, what is worse is being 2 years out from beating the hell out of your girlfriend and STILL thinking YOU are the victim. That YOU have suffered for no just reason, that people should just "get over it" even though your actions show that your rage is just the teeniest bit below the surface and you could blow at any time, meaning some other woman could be the next poster child for Chris Brown's "If You Love Your Woman, Slap Her Around" campaign.

Look, this isn't National Give Black Men a Pass for Beating Women Week. And BTW, there's no National Give White Men a Pass for Beating Women Week either. It matters not that Chris Brown is Black. He is a woman-beating, fit-throwing, self-pitying, narcissistic, pathetic excuse for a human being who shouldn't ever get any more air time from anyone. He didn't beat Rhianna because he's Black or because she's Black, he did it because he's an abuser. They come in all colors.

I have to wonder what you'll say if your DD ever comes home with a hamburger face from a beatdown. I guess it will be her fault for bringing it on herself and not knowing when to shut up. :sad2:

NOTHING a person says can justify being beat up. Nothing.
Really?

Back in college, a guy said some incredibly rude things to my girlfriend (now wife), I beat him up pretty good and feel that my actions were perfectly justified.

in a court of law it doesn't matter why a punch was thrown. You still pay the consequences. He should have kept his hands to himself.

This made me smile. I'm ready to bake you a cake of your choice!:worship:

I'd have to agree there are MANY things that can be said that can justify getting punched. I just don't think it's fair when people play the " but she's a woman" card. We can't have it both ways.

I can only wonder how many reasons your husband has had. I cannot imagine somebody actually thinking there are valid reasons for a man to beat a woman unless that person was living with violence and trying to justify why they choose to stay.......:rolleyes1

Could you please point to where anyone on this thread said "but she's a woman"?

Is there anyone posting on this thread who doesn't believe that Chris Brown has anger management issues? If so, why do you believe that?

Why shouldn't he have to face his probation officer and explain his actions at ABC?

Would hate to see him on DWTS.......we have to stop encouraging bad behavior and paying them for it~

Wow:scared1: I find your mindset horrifying and insane. I hope you never find yourself or loved one a victim of a violent relationship. Your statements are really sickening. I'm so disgusted:sick:

ETA: I can't imagine you'd feel the same way, if it were your daughter/son. So incredibly sickening.:sad2:

Nope. My DH doesn't hit me because he knows there would be a bat across his head in return.
CB hit a man no one would care.

First of all, he didn't just hit her. -He beat the crap out of her (and I'd bet my life it wasn't the first time.)

He didn't hit some random woman (which I don't condone physical violence either way.) He beat the crap/tortured someone that he had an intimate relationship with...very very different than hitting some random person.

It's very ignorant to honestly not see the HUGE difference. I'd do some research on domestic violence.

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 (Sorry to laugh at a serious subject.)

That the kinda chick i am.. you hit me, you're getting 18 times worse and THEN i'm leaving. I plan on teaching DD the same thing- he better look worse than you do. CB hasn't run into the right woman yet. He will meet someone who isn't going to take it then he will really be in a rage.

I'm Sorry I'm really not trying to offend anyone. I just see things a little differently I'm not about to give RiRi the benefit of the doubt. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, mine is just different than many.

I find some of the opinions expressed here very disturbing. Especially in light of the nurse found murdered last week by her ex-cop estranged DH (New York).

So when the girl won't take it, and Chris has a real rage, then what???

And if you do all of the above and the man overpowers you again, you could be a victim of the worst kind.... You don't know RiRi as you call her or anything that happened in that car. She is a woman who was beaten and her abuser only cares about himself to this day. It's pretty sad.
