:thanks: Please choose two between the following options. Our must-do TS include Jiko (dinner; staying at AKV), California Grill (brunch), and Raglan Road (DH's request).

I think all are great choices - more a matter of what menus you find appealing and what you want to eat. I’d venture to guess you could walk up /get day of reservations at all but maybe Yachtsman. I picked Flying Fish because it’s a favorite for special dinners - beautiful setting, impeccable service and delicious food. I picked Yachtsman as my second choice but was a coin flip vs Boathouse - the latter I tend to prefer for lunches out on the dock vs the dining room. And Yachtsman has those onion rolls!

FYI - Jiko relatively recently tweaked their menu so you may want to take a look. Totally still worth dining there and I’m sure still delicious but just to avoid getting your heart set on something. For instance I loved their wild boar appetizer and it is gone...

I chose Yachtsman and Flying Fish. Boathouse requires hiking out to disney springs, which I wouldn't care to do because I feel like it is a lot of disney bus transport versus just walking from the parks, and I feel like I wouldn't like Il Mulino because I love all the little imagineering touches you get at the disney signatures.

That said, if you want a recommendation on a signature not on your list, Tiffins is our favorite.

Flying Fish wasn’t on my radar but then I saw some pictures. Wow. Beautiful restaurant and the desserts look incredible.

Were staying at AKV and DH wants to try Jiko. We’ve enjoyed Sanaa twice and Boma once. I don’t have my heart set on anything yet. I’ll let DH make the Jiko choices. We usually share an appetizer or two, an entree, sometimes two, dessert. And of course drinks but we don’t share those.

Boathouse wasn’t on my list either until I saw dining on the dock. I love water venues. Is that more of a lunch thing? What about choosing between Homecomin’ and Boathouse for departure day lunch?

Boathouse for us

What do you love about it? The venue looks amazing!

We have not done any of these, but have always wanted to doYachtsman and Flying Fish, so that is what I choose.

Same. ::yes::

Thank you! Great rationale. I don’t give transportation much thought but probably should.

I will look at Tiffins menu.

If you try Jiko you will find yourself making that trip to AKL every trip you take, I made it easier on everyone for our 5th trip we stayed at AKL.

I think this depends on your overall itinerary (where you are staying, does going to Disney Springs make sense?)

If you are staying in the Boardwalk area I would say visit both Yachtsman and Flying Fish. If you are not, just pick one.

I would probably pick either Flying Fish or Boathouse. Il Mulino has never interested me, but I think it overall has good reviews! The free childcare is tempting.

We’re staying at AKL/V this trip. We haven’t been in nearly 6 years and I’m unsure when our next trip will be; were local to Disneyland.

We’re staying at AKV, just DH and myself so not kids, this trip, to schlep around. Lol. Basically our dinner plans are after spending the day in the parks. The only terrible transportation issue I recall is leaving Typhoon Lagoon years ago so I don’t think it’ll be an issue but not sure.

I think any of the 3 choices are good. When we go to WDW, we tend to avoid the steak houses as we have many good steak houses around us. We lean toward the seafood as that is not as prevalent around us. And Il Mulino, just has amazing food, so one we try to get back to about every other trip.

My top two are:
Tiffins and LeCellier!!

We had a really bad experience at Yatchsman and have always had a great experience at LeCellier :)

Disappointingly replaced by flavorless Berkshire pork tenderloin, but the bed of African grits and stewed tomatoes were still as good. $19's good, I'm still debating.

I go often, and just came back (did CG, Jiko & HBD and I wasn't thrilled with any of them) so I picked Flying Fish and Il Mulino, in the mood for good fish and Italian!
