Cholesterol meds and leg pain???

haha, saw this thread and was going to respond because of mom. LMBO Then I saw my replies!! Old thread.

So, in case anyone else bumps or answers, how is everyone doing now? OP?

My mom still goes strong at 72 1/2! Plays tennis for over 3 hours a day (& I mean she PLAYS, the ball doesn't have to "come to her"!) and hikes, kayaks etc. She takes fish oil and something to help her cholesteral.

The guy who bumped it, Buck, (his post was above yours, now deleted, was advertising, with a link, to his health insurance web site :rolleyes1 ) had a single post, spam. So now you look like the bumper...or is that the bumpee? :lmao:

Your mom does amaze me. :yay:

I take simvastatin (Zocor generic) and do have weakness in legs. Probably moreso from lack of exercise, but I have gone to PT in past months (not now) and have gone to neurologist for tests to rule out nerve problems. I do have another appointment there next week. I need to be able to walk well for Disney, as well as our trip to DC next month. Seeing Snoopy (Judi) one day, Marie is looking forward to that, me too. :woohoo:

My Dad was having a lot of aches and pains that turned out to be his cholesterol medicine. Not sure which one caused the problems, but they switched him to something else and it went away.
