I'm never good at figuring out carbs. I followed some directions online and here are the ingredients

2 cups heavy cream
3 pkts of splenda
2 TBsp of unsweetened Cocoa Powder

She says 22 carbs for the whole batch. But per my ingredients that I used the Heavy Cream had 0 carbs, the pkts of splenda had <1carb, and my 2 TBsp of unsweetened Cocoa was only 2 carbs. So I'm figuring 3 to 4 carbs total for the whole thing. Maybe she used a different chocolate powder. I just use Hersheys.

It is good but does taste a bit bland. If I had used my Ghiradellies Cocoa Mix it woudl have had 19 carbs in the 2 Tbsp.

What do you thinK?

Well, I always figure Splenda packets at 1 carb, just to be on the safe side, so it looks like 5 carbs for the whole thing to me! Sounds kinda yummy too!! I'm wishing I had some more carbs left for the day, but alas, it will have to wait until tomorrow.... :p

Edit / Correction:
I just plugged one cup of heavy cream into Fitday - it says 6.5 g carbs & no fiber for 1 cup. That's about 13g for 2 cups so the total would be cream (13g), splenda (3g), cocoa (2g) = 18 carbs.

Okay well my container of 40% Heavy Whipping Cream says 0 carbs per serving. Hmm.....

How much is a serving on the container, Amanda? If the carbs per serving are under .5 then they are allowed to put 0 carbs on the label. All those little carb bits add up when you're using 2 cups. For most people it wouldn't matter, but for those of us on restricted carb diets, it can be frustrating!

Hehehe. One serving is One TBSP. It says on the bottom though something about per gram 4 carbohydrates. I have no idea. This is why I hate making stuff. :)

I have a question on the cocoa.

My Hershey Cocoa says it has 3 carbs per tbl.. So that would mean 6 carb total for cocoa.

Cream 13g
Splenda 3g
Cocoa 6g
___________

Total 22 g. of carb.

There you go.......that's the 22 g.!!

Our Kelsie made a chocolate mousse using whipped heavy cream and adding a melted sugar free milk chocolate bar. I haven't tried it yet but she said it was yummy :)
