So while away this weekend I went to a restaurant supply store a few states from home, and purchased a large bag of expensive, Merkins Chocolate chips.
I didn't want them to melt in the car on the hot, long drive home, so I put the sealed bag in a cooler with ice. Unfortunately, the "factory sealed" bag, was not, and water got into my chocolate chips.
I know I can no longer melt them for molds, is there anything I can do to save them? If I just use them in baked goods will they be ok? I am so bummed!!
TIA
