I've been wondering if chocolate covered strawberries can be ordered from room service? I know you can order them as a cruise gift with petit fours and champagne, but can you order them all by themselves during the cruise? If so, anybody know how much they were?

I only remember them from Pirate Night buffet and also on the
Dessert night buffet. Did not order any room service so, not sure about that one.

You can't order them from room service and they are not always available when you purchase them through the Gift Offering from DCL, seasonal.
They are offered in the Bon Voyage gift package which includes a bottle of champagne, petit fours and chocolate strawberries. There are 4 different kinds of champagne offered.

They were waiting for us in our room when we got engaged - so I know it's possible to get them! Maybe ask when you get on the ship - or tell Guest Services it was the ONE thing your sister was looking forward to...can they help make a magical memory? You never know!

They have them at the dessert buffet night but they also serve them outside Rockin Bar D during shows and towards the back of Lumiere's some nights for a late night snack when you are hungry.....

I have seen the chocolate covered strawberries out for the taking as late night snacks outside Promenade Lounge on deck 3 on embarkation night. We frequently made sure a plate of them would be waiting in our room as a pre-ordered room gift along with champagne or asti spumante.

Not only are "previously coated" strawberries available at the dessert buffet at Lumiere's (white and milk chocolate, no less), but they also have the chocolate fountain with strawberries and other things (bananas, pineapple, etc.) that can be dipped.

chocolate fountain too? Disney's chocolate covered stawberries are THE BEST I have ever had!!

I have never gone to the dessert buffet because I am either sleeping or too full, but I may have to rethink this. I would love the chocolate fountain.

Sometimes there is a small buffet outside of the clubs late at night. This is not the advertised dessert buffet. It is just a small buffet of appetizers and desserts they serve around 11:00 pm. I've often seen chocolate covered strawberries there. Grab a few and take them back to the room. They can be stored in the frig for a couple days.

On our last Wonder Cruise (Easter 08) there were Chocolate Covered strawberries and other chocolate goodies at the late night buffet, as logan described. The buffet (small table) opens at 10pm (or was it 11?) and you can get as many as you want from there.

It's opposite the side entrance to Tritons, near the Promanade Lounge. It's quite a nice little spot, and of course heaven for all you choco-holics! I say grab as many as you can and take them up to your room. After-all, it's a buffet.

The full-on dessert buffet is on the Magic. We have only been on the Western itinerary and I think it was Thursday night at 11 pm. It is something to behold, and worth staying up for even if you can only eat a little bit. Last Feb, the first lady in line got there first so that she could be the first into Lumiere's to take a picture of the spread before there was anyone in line. There are ice carvings, the cakes look almost too good to eat, etc. etc. Definitely worth staying up for...

Watch your Navigator in the columns where they talk about where to eat late at night. You won't necessarily be told about it by your servers, although on both our cruises our servers brought it to our attention at dinner that night.
