1 package chocolate cake mix
1 can cherry pie filling (21 oz. size)
1 tsp. almond extract
2 beaten eggs
Mix ingredients well. Pour into a greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes, or until it tests done.
Frost when cool.
Come to think of it, I haven't made this in awhile. Now I want some!!
The almond extract sounds like a good addition.... I have used the pie filling before, but I added a whole bag of mini marshmellows and frosted it with cool whip !
