I need to find princess sunglasses for adults. Hmmmmm.....

Seriously, someone should block my garage door I've been in and out with bags of stuff. My neighbors are going to think I'm unemployed and have a shopping addiction. I need to have a shirt made that says "Yes, I have a job. I'm a teacher."

OMG yes souvie and drinks money! I can't forget that. I want a dole whip float (that's the hardest drink I'm going to get in the MK), a lapu lapu or 7, a Grey Goose slushie, a Grand Marnier, champagne, and a few Kir Royales.

Oh a city trip! That's so much fun. The Marriott Marquis is so beautiful. Thinking about going soon?

It's our favorite "city" hotel! Our friend is the GM there, and he upgraded us last time to a two room suite with a view of Times Square. DD was in HEAVEN!!! I'd like to try to get in before school starts. We'll have to see!

when is Patti leaving?

Not sure. I know Laura has a "year" contract, so we really want to get in there and see them both.

You know what? I'll say this very quietly.... I didn't care too much for the Lapu Lapu! I enjoyed the Mai Tais at Blizzard Beach much better! ....made by "Pete the bartender from Fairlawn, NJ"....

I'll try the Mai Tai also. I plan on trying lots of things. I'm going to drink around the world. If I decide to resort hop, I want to try one drink at every resort.

I admit it. I love to shop. I love shoes. When you put the two together, it's a very dangerous combo.

What's worse is combining my love of shopping with planning a Disney vacation. It gives me an excuse to shop some more. I say things to myself like "I need new shoes for Mickey" and "I cannot have breakfast with princesses in these old rags" to rationalize my shopping. Sure I have lots of shoes, clothes, and bags. But I need special ones for my trip.

It's a problem, I admit it.

Well, today I went to Target, DSW, and Barnes and Noble. I left home with my trunk empty and came back with it full.

Here's the damage:

Teva sandals for T:

Batman and Hulk undies and socks for T. And a lonely tube of Neosporin.

A new suitcase

Pink pajamas

T-shirts. Yes, I bought two black t-shirts. I'm a New Yorker. We're always in black

Shorts

Here's the problem:

Flip flops

Assorted athletic footwear

That was purchased all today. What normal person does that? And more importantly, how am I going to pack all of those shoes and my Via Spiga sandals?

Summer reading (I'm very proud of myself. I did not buy one Disney travel guide. But then again I had them all already )

Did you buy all of those shoes at DSW today?!? How did you get them all up to the counter and back to your car and then up to your apartment?!? I am IMPRESSED! I am going to show that to my DH to show him that I am not the only one who thinks it's necessary to have the same flip flops in multiple colors. I love those Nike mary jane shoes. Please let me know if they're comfortable.

Oh I think I'm going to start the book tonight.

I did buy each pair at DSW. I went shopping with my mom so I had some help. She controlled herself and bought one pair. I, on the other hand, was out of control.

To get them upstairs (luckilyI only live on the 2nd floor) I made multiple trips to the car. But I was nervous about leaving the trunk open. I didn't want any of my shoes to disappear.

And of course you have to have the same flip flops in different colors. How else would they match different ensembles? My exbf thinks just like your DH. He doesn't get that I NEED lots of shoes.

The Nike mary jane shoes are super comfy. I've been prancing around my apartment in them.

Yes I did. Flip flops are heaven for the feet in the summer. I LOVE them. Nikes are my current fav. I like Teva and Addidas also. I've never tried Reefs. Hmmm that may be my next purchase.
