Yes, you would have made it into our classes -- I know for sure that you would have qualified in motivation (that's the OCD planner part), academics (your mathematical skills are top-notch), and creativity (the whole Fuzzy Disney Math). We'll also assume your IQ is quite high since you love Disney! See, you are gifted!



By middle school, most students that are gifted have been identified as gifted -- there are usually one or two a year that haven't been caught for whatever reason. On paper, I test twice a year, but it's usually only in the fall after ITBS scores come back -- I haven't needed to test in the spring for awhile.

Disney is affordable if you can sprout wings, fly yourself, and produce your own food.

The food alone always kills us -- that's why we love the dining plan -- then, I know it is all taken care of!

I'm thinking next time I should just store food in my cheeks (like squirrels when they're storing food for winter) for Disney.

I had one student last year who figured out how to hack into the school network.

We don't retest for gifted -- I just test students who haven't been identified -- once you're labeled gifted, you stay gifted. Now, students can be removed from the program for not maintaining high enough grades. We lose a few every year from that because they just stop "doing" in middle school sometimes.

I agree. I watched it again today with my nephew. Now he wants to go on Expedition Everest. But he won't make the height requirement by August We'll stick to Goofy's Barnstormer.

He was about 38 in January. He looks taller. Hopefully, he'll be able to try it...with my mom. I'm a big chicken!
