I tried to catch up on this since I was out of town last week. Great idea since Nov is being so wonky!

Has anyone gotten an ADR for dining with an imagineer for Nov? Or even Oct? I know they are hard to get nowadays, but I was on at my 180 mark and have checked every single day since with no luck. Hoping they just arent released yet.

Just a tip the app a lot of times isn't the best way to find an ADR when Scout notifies you. I got a Scout notification for Ohana last night and I used my phone while walking to my laptop that was charging in my office and it couldn't find anything for Ohana but it was still there when I got my laptop and I was able to book it. Obviously, if that is your only option then you don't really have a choice but if at all possible use a computer At least that has been my experience.

What about logging on through Safari on your phone vs. app if you can't access a desktop? Good luck that way too?

I was enjoying people who posted on the November cancellation thread when they saw general openings they spotted in popular restaurants. (not cancellations) I believe that Pumba would rather people not do that there. I hope people continue to do that here. I never find anything for the 4 restaurants I'm trying to get on my own.

Interesting thing about this is I coordinated a pick up with someone the other day and I only had my work laptop which is a Dell (my personal is a Macbook) I'm not sure how old it is but I could not find the reservation on there and the app was actually faster and worked out for me that time. I feel like it can be hit or miss with both but I still stand by my original suggestion to always use a computer if possible

I'm probably in the minority on this but I did not like it. I'm probably just being bitter but I got a notification from reservation watch regarding THE PERFECT CP breakfast for my family, I was literally sitting in front of my computer at the time so I immediately checked and it was gone. I checked on here to see if maybe it was one posted on the cancellation thread and had coordinated with someone and that's why I missed it. It was on the cancellation thread but just someone posting they saw an opening two minutes before I got my notification so I was sad Like I said I'm sure I'm just being bitter because I missed out so for those that have been helped by it I do hope people continue to do it and I will just pout over my CP by myself

On that note has anyone successfully booked a reservation from using reservation watch? I got a notification this morning for a 1900 Park Fare from them, it wasn't a time I wanted but I checked to see if it was still out there anyway and it was gone. I've never had an issue getting anything from Scout when I get a notification so I'm just wondering if reservation watch is slow because that's two now that have been gone when I've checked and both were watch notifications.

I received a notification from them last night @ 10:39. Just found out that another service notified someone else about the same reservation around 8. So not really very helpful

Well, I'm glad I only paid .99 for one search and the rest were free because it sounds like they are slow.

You can try it DD got her Chef Mickeys on her phone I do not know how. If you do not have a laptop with you it certainly cannot hurt to try.

I always use my laptop it has been others who are trying to pick up what I am dropping.

I do know that it does not work for special event dining. We had the most trouble with the Star Wars Sci Fi breakfast.

I admit that I did get a reservation that someone posted that they saw on the cancellation thread. However the scouting apps have become so popular that there are many people doing searches for the same restaurants and times.

That's the only reason I'm following the BOG breakfast watch thread. I don't want a BOG breakfast but I do want a CP breakfast not even a pre-park opening one. I'm hoping maybe some other breakfasts open up as well when they extend BOG breakfast.

I want a BOG lunch. Do you think some of those will become available if/when they release breakfast? I received an alert for one last night (my first one) and the reservation was gone by the time I checked for it.

I'm looking for either BOG breakfast or lunch and wondering the same thing! I got an alert last night too and had my phone in hand clicking through but was still somehow too slow. Wondering if it was the same alert? If we're looking for the same day let's definitely keep each other in the loop

I definitely think BOG breakfast extension into the Fall will be a huge game changer foe ADRs...I bet some lunches will open at BOG and CP and CRT breakfasts!!

Saw Osborne Lights dates posted today! First-timer here wondering if I need to think about dining options in connection with seeing the day we are at HS or just show up? Tips/thoughts?

I've not see Osborne Lights yet either! I'm planning a late Mama Melrose Fantasmic lunch, then FPs, then Fantasmic, then Osborne Lights followed by a late dinner at Morimoto's in Disney Springs. Depending on how late you like to eat, you may want a late lunch at HS, time at the park until it closes, and then late dinner somewhere else, or opt for an earlier dinner at HS just so you are at the parks that night. I think both make sense.

I, personally, try to plan chunks of time in one place to limit the time back and forth. But it could be just as easy to head to HS at the end of the night for the lights as a way to end your day.

Oh that would stink!! It's crazy how in just minutes people can see openings, post them, and then they are gone!
