Chit Chat Thread - November ADRs...

It may be included as part of the dessert party. For the Hallowishes dessert party it included a separate section for parade viewing and then desserts and fireworks from the Tomorrowland Terrace.

Sometimes it's just the dessert and firework seating. I would think that if they are doing a party for MNSSHP they would do a similar one for MVMCP - but right now, nothing's been announced - at least not from what I've seen. They might not do a dessert party, but the fact they do one for everything these days, I would think so.
Read the reviews and I think it would be absolutely worth it if we didn't have to wait 1-2 hours for a parade spot only to have an adult end up standing right in front of our young girls (because that's what always happens)
Please update if anything comes up about a mvmcp dessert party opening up. We are booked for the party on the 15th of Nov. and I definitely want to try to get the dessert party party:

I have been searching for wishes dessert party tickets and when I look up the dates mvmcp dates are not in grey. (To show its not available) I was actually able to search for the dessert party on nov 15 (mvmcp date) and it says, "no reservations available" just like it does when something is sold out. Is this just a glitch in the system?

We did MVMCP last year and are skipping it this year. If my memory serves me correct the Wishes Dessert Party on MVMCP nights was released later on. Like maybe a month before. It was not any special parade viewing, just the same firework dessert party they have on regular MK nights. We are actually doing the dessert party this year on the MK EMH night (11/17) since last year my daughter was so upset we missed Tinkerbell ziplining last year! She is supposed to zip right over the dessert party and wave. Otherwise I think it's kind of expensive but I justified it since we are not doing MVMCP. I probably wouldn't bother taking away from MVMCP time. As far as the parade goes your best bet is to snag a spot along Main Street right towards the entrance of the park. I think we were in front of Main St. Confectionary. The parade ends there but actually turns around a bit so its a great view. We had front row about 45 minutes before the 2nd parade. In hindsight I would have just sat there before the first parade because I remember it not being too bad before the first parade and my kids got really tired waiting for the second parade. The party itself was fun but definitely a one and done for us. The lines for the characters were way too long and I felt like the wait times on an EMH night after the fireworks are just as good of a time to get on rides at a reduced wait.

Someone else may have to answer that....the Wishes dessert party may be the MVMCP party.i just was wondering if they'd add something more like the Hallowishes. I think the Wishes dessert party is only the fireworks show but Hallowishes included the parade spot. Sorry I don't know more. Maybe call the Disney dining line.

@kidsfirsttrip seems to remember Wishes being released later for party nights. Again, maybe call the dining line or do some searching on the Dis. I'll let you know if I find anything else!

not ADR related but in case anyone needs a fastpass for seven dwarfs mine train for 11/16, there is at least 2 available at 9am-10am (i keep checking for a better time, but that doesn't work for us).

I keep checking for one too but for a different date. Not only am I stalking the Nov cancellation for ADRs, now I'm also stalking the FP cancellation thread too. So much work but it's actually fun and challenging now that the things I'm looking for aren't the "must dos". It'd be nice to have but I won't be sad if I don't get them.

i know what you mean.. i am pretty content with our fastpasses right now (only snagged one for A&E but DH is totally fine not meeting them so I'm using his other to meet Ariel lol and he can sit outside for that one as well, unless I can snag another A&E) but I am STILL searching for my #1 most-important-holiday-will-be-ruined-without-it ADR.

ps. there are at least 2 FP for 7DMT at 5:30pm on 11/16 avail - never mind, already gone

Are people still having issues with the coordinated drop/add ADR process? If you can't drop an ADR and immediately add it to another account, then I think this might be Disney's way to make it difficult for that new Dining Agent website that charges for reservations. It might be working too, because last night I finally went to check out the website to see if it was hording some of my wanted BOG times, and the website is down for maintenance.

So I found Scout's email address on the website and asked about there not being a cancellation link (since no one seems to be able to find one). I got a response back. I am not even a customer, and they replied very quickly!

"You know we totally missed adding the account cancellation link to the account profile page. We'll get that fixed up in the next few days.

Thanks for noticing that!"

I think I've totally screwed myself unintentionally!

The very first, most important dining reservation I booked (I'm a disney newbie) was CRT and I booked for 4 people, the number of ticket/ dining plan holders... but I have a toddler who will be almost 2 at the time of the trip- he is free, no ticket or dining plan and I didn't include him in our important CRT reservation! *facepalm*

Shortly after I began booking dining reservation I learned on a forum that due to fire code the reservations need to include the little ones- even if they are free/ not ordering a meal. I just called disney dining to try adding him to my reservation and basically learned that they search for reservations the same way I do online and that they really can't help me add anything to an existing reservation?! I was told to just keep searching for reservation openings so that I can book for the right number of people.

I'm not sure what to do. I'm pretty positive I wont be finding another CRT reservation during our stay. Will I have to miss out on CRT and cancel? What will happen if we just show up with him without a reservation modification? What would you do?

I know this doesn't help completely, but you could try to find Akershus because it is much easier to get in there. It is our second trip to DW and we did CRT last time and liked it, but didn't think we wanted to use 2 credits this year again. I've heard that Akershus has 5 princesses and is as good as CRT. Hope this helped:)

I don't know about adding in a person to your ADR when you get there. But have you tried setting up a scout or something similar to look for that? I've received 2 alerts (or maybe 3) for CRT for lunch and dinner but have been slow at getting to the ressie page to get it. So it may be a rare ADR but it does become available. Good luck.

Do you have the link to the fast pass cancellation thread?

What is most important ADR? :)

You should be fine with a baby btw btw at CRT. You can let them know at the desk when you check in or if you're staying at a Disney resort let the concierge know when you can. If the proper amount pops up in searching, then grab it, but if not you should be okay.
