Looking for suggestions on having Christmas eve or day dinner at Disney but my problem is not having a pass to get into one of the 4 parks(you do need a pass to get in if you have a reservation within a park, right?) for just dinner???

Staying at Bonnet creek but not really doing the whole complete 4 park disney thing except maybe 1 day at AK or MK. I guess I'm looking for x-mas Dinner suggestions outside the parks pending we would need a day pass--maybe Downtown Disney suggestions???

Kids are 8(girl) and 12(boy).

Thanks!!

Are you meaning for THIS Christmas? If so, you should call Disney Dining and see what is available. You will need to be very flexible with your choices as most restaurants are booked. However, I do remember reading that some restaurants had opened up some early time slots for Christmas. Yes, you will have to have park admission to eat in a park restaurant.

If you want this Christmas, you may be completely out of luck at any restaurant. Your best bet is to call Dining and ask them what is open.

To answer your question, yes if you have a reservation in a park you have to have park admission. If you don't want to visit the parks on Christmas day, you might be better off looking for off property restaurants that still have availability.

You might find a resort with an opening. The parks are booked anyway.

Good Luck:santa:

We have stayed at Bonnet Creek, what a lovely resort!

I digress. Do you have a car? If yes, there is Macaroni Grill, Outback, Olive Garden right there near Downtown Disney. There is also the Golden Coral type of thing. You can google for all of the restaurants in the area.

You can also order complete dinners from Publix and eat at your villa. Honestly, it it was me, that is what I would do. The restaurants are going to be berserk. We are staying at VWL and already have reservations for WCC, but we just have to walk over and then walk back, no biggy. Enjoy!:santa:

we will be there for Christmas dinner and we are eating at the Poly for the Spirit of Aloha show. I wanted to make dinner that night extra special, and I am hoping that watching the show with dinner will make it something unforgettable. keep us posted on if you were able to book anything.
