Chip & Dale sing along

Has anyone gone over to Ft. Wilderness for the campfire sing along? It seems like a nice low key evening but I've read it can be time consuming getting over there and back.

Looks like we could do the sing along, watch the movie (depending on what they're showing), and probably catch the Electrical Water Pageant all in the same night.

On the other hand...if we have to squeeze all of that into the end of a busy day, I'm wondering if it is worth it. Maybe a movie at our resort is just as good?

If you've been, what did you think? Is it worth it?

It is a hidden gem, in my opinion. Where else can you meet a character totally for free? No park ticket required, nothing.

As for is it worth the time to get there, hard to say. That probably depends on how much you like Chip and Dale. You can get a movie at your resort. Some even have fires with marshmallow roasting. I know AKL does.

But it is really fun, pretty and relaxing. If you can put the time in to get out there it's worth it.

Though not sure you can get in the Water Pageant and the campfire at the same time. Neither go off till night and by the time you got from the lake area to the Meadow you'd be late and may miss C&D and the singing

Thanks AngiTN. We don't have any particular fondness for Chip & Dale but DD loves characters of any sort, and Ft Wilderness just seems like a nice getaway. So I suppose we'll just play it by ear and try it if we have the time.
