Is it true that any Disney resort guests are allowed to go to the nightly sing along and movie at Fort Wilderness? If :flower: so, does anyone know what time it starts each night?

You might want to post this on the camping board, you'll get more responses. We always stay at FW and really enjoy this. Yes, it's free, just take bus or boat to FW, then an internal bus to the campfire itself. Singalong first that is old fashioned and delightful. Concession stand where you can buy package of marshmallows, sticks, etc, for roasting. Wooden benches and bleachers, so not super comfy, but fun to watch in the great outdoors. My DS really likes seeing the old 60s live action movies, silly kid. Someone usually posts on the camping board by the first of the month what that month's movies are and when.

Last November it started around 7-7:30pm or so but I'm sure it changes seasonally. There is a movie that follows the sing-a-long. My kids really enjoyed their whole evening at FW.

I was told the last time we were there.
It's open to everyone.
You don't have to be staying @ a resort.
It could have changed.
Might want to ask to make sure.
We had a great time.

The Campfire Program is open to all WDW Resort guests. It starts at 7:00 p.m. (8:00 pm in the winter months). It starts with a singalong around a big campfire where you can roast marshmallows. (Marshmallow roasting kits are sold for $5, if you don't have your own). Chip & Dale visit with everyone, signing autographs, etc.

After the singalong, they show a full-length Disney movie on the outdoor screen (sometimes they show 2 movies, depending on the time of year).

There is a concession stand, called the Chuckwagon, where you can buy snacks, popcorn, nachos, ice cream, candy, sodas, etc.

There are bleachers and benches to sit on, or you can bring your own blanket to spread on the ground, or a lawn chair.

Hop on over to the Fort Wilderness board for more information! Here's the link! Fort Wilderness Discussion Board

I'd suggest you familiarize yourself with Fort Wilderness's busing system 1st, or get a map of FW before you go. The easiest way to get there is by boat from MK, the same way people do for Hoop de doo. Then take a FW bus to the Camp Fire. If memory serves me right, from the bus stop near Hoop de doo, the orange bus would make the campfire stop it's 1st stop. Last boat back to MK is 10PM, I think.
