Chip and Dale Campfire...accessibility and time

We are staying at the WL in October and as it will be under s bit of construction it looks they are moving the campfire indoors. It should be easy for our group to go to Chip and Dales campfire at Ft Wilderness, right? My FIL will be on a scooter/ECV so i want to make sure it is accessible and at a reasonable time...is there a place where times for campfires are listed?

Seating at the campfire is first come, first serve. As with any FCFS event at Disney, the best thing to do would be to just show up a little earlier that way your family gets the best seats possible! Not sure if they're going to be moving it indoors or not (this is the first I've heard of it!) but you can find campfire times online here https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/recreation/chip-n-dale-campfire-sing-a-long/ or by checking with the front desk upon arrival. Thanks for that info! I didn't realize it worked like that. I think i was a little unclear in my original post--the campfire at Wilderness Lodge may be moved indoors due to refurbishment at that hotel, so we are thinking of going across the lake to Fort Wilderness for that Campfire (Chip and Dale) instead. So I wanted to make sure my FIL coudl travel on an ECV on the boat and then over to where the campfire is.

There is a bus between WL and FW, I would actually take that instead of the boat especially with the ECV. You can take the EVC on some of the boats, but not all. This means that you might have to wait for an extra boat. The bus will drop you off at the Settlement Depot, which is the same bus stop you would use if you took the boat over to FW. From there, you would want the Orange or Yellow bus route, unless these have changed recently. You can ask the driver where you need to get off. The grounds around the campfire/movie area are a gravel type.

I think I read just recently that the ECV's do not fit on the boat that goes between FW and WL. They are apparently smaller than the boats that go to MK, for instance.

I think there is a bus that takes you from WL to FW that is used as alternate transportation. I would check with the front desk.
