Chilly November Nights...

In a moment of madness, I said to my DW that I would run naked around the garden if we managed to join DVC. Two nights ago, just after our guide had said "Welcome Home" she remembered my offhand, throwaway remark and insisted that I keep my word. It's amazing how cold it is at this time of year - I'm only glad that it is also dark. :yay:

I've been lurking on this board for months, whilst my DW and I made the decision. We finally took the step and have just bought points at AKV. I am so excited I had to tell someone and you guys have been so helpful and enthusiastic, I could think of nobody better.

Thanks for all the advice. Now can't wait to go home.

J I have just had to join DISS (well no I did not HAVE to but I have) to reply to your post.

I too have been lurking but not for as long as you. Only since the DH said YES and since then I have read nearly everything there is to read on DVC. Well as we are living in Malta and the people of DVC can not talk to people in Malta we have had to do everything through our DD who is still in the UK. And yesterday afternoon we got the phone call that we had been waiting for. He had FINALLY got back to her and we also are the proud owners of 200 AKV points :banana:
