Our alarm went off this morning but we both promptly fell back to sleep so we arrived at MK a bit later than planned. First stop we pick up some Buzz FPs and then onto Space Mountain on which I nearly lost our park tickets, luckily I didn't. Next up Monsters Inc and then onto Buzz with our FPs. As we go round DH's sunglasses fall, he see's them drop and lunges to grab them but misses and they fall to the floor just out of his reach. At the end of the ride we tell a CM who says come back in 10 mins, so DH waits outside and I set off to get some Splash Mountain FPs. When I get back he has his sunglasses but they are missing a lens.
We head into cosmicrays and both opt for a cheeseburger, DH is very sad at the loss of his glasses as they were new for the holiday. We go into Mickey's Philharmonic to cheer him up and then go on Splash with our FPs, we get soaked.
We sat in the sun till it was time to use our Big Thunder Mountain FPs which we'd picked up on our way onto Splash. While we'd been waiting we saw a lost child handed over to CM and he didn't seem sure what to do and I thought it was odd that Disney didn't have a procedure in place.
We went to get some Pineapple Dole Whip Floats and then headed out of the park. The light came on to say we needed fuel so we stopped off to get gas but couldn't work the pump so had to go inside to pay.
Back at the hotel we sunbathe by the pool for a bit before heading back to MK. We arrive back as the parade comes out so we stop to watch before going into our ADR at Tony's. It seemed packed but our buzzer went off really quickly.
We have a lovely if a bit crazy server. DH gets the seafood delvozi and I get the chicken parmagina. We do the Lady & Tramp pose at our server's insistence. As we were going to the Wishes Dessert Party tonight we don't get pudding but our server brings us free ice cream for our anniversary.
We were finished really quickly so we go for a walk. We go through the castle to toontown to see how long the character lines were but they were too long for me. We went over to Main Street and looked in the shops.
We went to queue up the Wishes Dessert Party. We ended up with front row seats although that doesn't mean much as everyone gets up to stand by the wall when the fireworks start. We get some dessert and enjoy the view of the castle although its a bit cold tonight. It is a great view of the fireworks although they are off to the right not straight over the castle and I get a bit teary near the end as I don't know when i'll see them from in the park again.
