I agree that the child CS choices are bad. In Dec we ate CS almost every day for lunch (not on the DDP for that trip) and I think only 1 time did any of our 3 kids order from the kids menu. I also DO NOT think the portions are huge either. My DD was almost 4 in Dec and she ate the "adult" burger at every CS place we tried, no problem. She is not a huge eater, but it was very cool out and she was hungry from walking-I'm sure in July it would have been a different story. My sons of course had no problem finishing the burgers either. There is no way my family of 5 could have split CS every day unless 1 or 2 of us didn't eat! Granted we did not order desserts, but it still baffles me that some people say CS is large enough to split with hungry kids.
In Oct we are on the DDP-YEAH! We will be 3A/2C (oldest DS is 10). If my 2 younger kids want a cheeseburger and the CS place won't let me get it for them, I will just pay OOP for it. I'm certainly not going to make them order stuff they won't eat like hot dogs in beans or chilled chicken (what the heck is that anyway)? I guess we'll just see what happens.
