Children sitting together on rides

What if they are 4&6 with one adult (as one adult will stay with the baby)? Any 40" rides this will cause a problem?

I'm curious about this as well. My wife and I are going with our 3 kids(5, 4, & 4). I would hope we don't have to split up and ride each ride 3 times.

What if both of the kids are under 7? What will happen in that case? We will be going in December. We will have a newborn, but my 5 & 6 year old will be tall enough and I think will want to ride Everest. Will my husband, 6 year old & 5 year old be able to go on? Or will my husband have to ride twice - once with each kid?

Rider swap and either he or you take the second child.

Barnstormer would be a potential issue as would the Mine Train.

Thunder Mountain and Splash Mountain fit 3 across.

I believe the problems arises when the ride features a max of 2 per row. Some rides permit
3 per row allowing the parent to be accommodated.

Mine train and Barnstormer are examples of only 2 per row.

I have not been on any rides
With height restrictions lately,
So I don't have a list of rides which rides would be a problem and which would not.

I do know that for the race care in Tomorrowland, a single parent with 2 underage children will be permitted 2 laps on the course giving each child an opportunity to drive of desired. The car will fit a parent and 2 small children. We had to do this once as I do not ride it when I am pregnant.

Weird. Must be a new thing. I know my kids rode that together much younger!

The rule went into effect fall of 2012. We went in Oct 2012 with all of us so no issues but then I went in Dec 2012 with just the 3 youngest, the youngest being 6, and it was all sorts of problems for me as the solo adult all of a sudden needing to sit with only the youngest. The rule is not logical for most rides. They originally had it for just a few rides like Haunted Mansion, TSM, rides where you really dont have eyes on your kids in another car but then shortly after expanded it to all rides. Thankfully my you gest was mere months from being 7 so we only had to deal with this for 1 trip. I really feel for families with multiple under 7s, the person in the back office making this rule did not take those families into consideration.

Thanks! It will work out good for our family because of the baby (I'm a chicken and won't ride Everest), but that seems tough for a single parent or the other situation where you have three kids under 7.

Yep. While not single, I have taken the kids by myself.

It is sad for families who don't have a second person to assist them.
