I discovered something new on our recent trip. We've used Fastpass and Baby Swap, but the Child Watcher Pass is kind of like a combination of the two.

Here's how it works:
Let's say three of you (more, I suppose) go through the fast pass line and tell the CM they need a child watcher pass. They will give you one, that looks like a fast pass.

When you are done two other people in your group get to go on the ride through the fastpass. That means one person in your group gets to ride twice. My BIL even was able to arrange it so two people got to ride again.

I forgot to mention. Unlike Baby Swap, the kids don't actually have to be in line with you. You just tell the CM that you have someone watching the kids, and they give you the Child Watcher Pass. That way we didn't have to drag two toddlers and the double stroller any farther.

It's really great to be able to use the fast passes twice in a row. We hardly had to wait in lines for anything, and we were there right before the Fourth of July. Also no one had to miss out on any rides that the toddlers were too small to go on, and the bigger kids liked getting to ride their favorites two times.

Can you only do this when you use Fast Pass? You said you went in the Fast Pass line. I'm hoping you can do this with the original group waiting in the regular que and then the second group would go through the fast pass.

Anybody else done this yet?

When I was there in December, my cousin's six year old was too small to ride on the Rock 'N Roller coaster. When we went to get in the stand by line, a cast member measured him, and gave us a Child Swap ticket so that one of us could wait in the standby line while the other one went off and did something with my cousin's son.

In the Standby Line, it is known as Baby Swap. I suppose that's the same thing as Child Swap. I'm not sure why the rest of the group would want to wait in the regular line, when they could have a seat or go do something else until the first group is done with the fast pass. I suppose if your group is too big, it may cause some conflict about who gets to go twice. The Child Watcher Pass does say something in fine print about no more than 3 people using it.

I found the Fast Pass option to be the only way to go, especially with the Child Watcher option. We were there right before the Fourth and hardly waited in line for anything by using Fast Pass and only going on things with shorter lines.

I imagine the only problem would be if some members of the group already had a fastpass for another attraction and they couldn't get another fastpass at a particular time.

Just to tell you what we do -
We have 15 and 7 yo girls. The 7 yo doesn't want to do TOT or Rock 'n Roller coaster.
We use our 4 park tickets to get 4 fast passes. Then DH rides with 15 yo while I go get ice cream for 7 yo. Then when they are done, we still have 2 fast passes left for me and 15 yo to go.

It doesn't matter whether or not you use the standby or FastPass line, you can do a baby swap/rider switch/whatever you want to call it in either case. The exact procedure differs from ride to ride, but the general idea is always the same.
