Anybody know what are the attractions in MK that propose Child Swap ?
Thanks for your help...

I think you can use child swap at any place where children don't meet the height restriction. This would include Thunder Mountain, Space Mountain, and Splash Mountain.

Yes, that's right. Any ride that has height restrictions and your child isn't tall enough.

If your child is tall enough, they will make them join the line and you could swap at the ride itself.

When you get to a ride just ask the CM working it how they handle child swap and they will explain it to you. Sometimes, not all rides' child swap are the same or sometimes it's the CM working the ride that handles it differently.

I also thought if a ride was to intense you could do child swap. Our 6 yr old DD doesn't like dinosaur and we have always been able to rider swap. We always check with the CM when we enter because it seems like each ride handles it differently. :sunny:

Yes, you can swap BUT if the child is tall enough to ride, they will make the child go in the line with you and swap at the ride itself. No special Fastpass child swap ticket given for kids tall enough. Of course, it could also depend on the CM working but that is the official policy.

This happened to us at ToT, Splash, Space, Thunder, and Test Track. Our DD, age 6, will not ride these rides. The CM working the rides measured her and told us because she is tall enough, they would not give us the special child swap pass. We could swap at the ride itself...she had to wait in the line with us.

Best advice ask each CM at the entrance to the ride and see how they handle child swap.

Does it mean there's a special line for Child Swap... kinda Fastpass line ?

No - Childswap is for families that can't enjoy an attraction together due to a restriction. If you have a child who dosen't meet the mimimum height you can use childswap on those attractions to even out the wait time. Its purpose is to allow the family to enjoy the attraction with only one wait time vs double wait time, it is not meant to shorten the wait.

You can use childswap via the standby line or the fast pass line if you have a valid fastpass for that attraction at that time. Before you enter the line tell the CM you would like to use childswap and they will instruct you as to how they will accomdate you. The baby/child must be with you to do the swap.

If you have a child who meets the height restriction but chooses not to ride you won't be offered child swap. The best option in this case is to use Fast Pass and or split up.

To the OP - any of the attractions with height restrictions will offer you childswap if you have a child that dosen't meet the height restriction. Here is a great calculator, just enter the childrens heights and make your plans accordingly.

Not really. What happens IF the child is too short to ride the ride is they give you a special child swap fastpass that is good for up to 3 people any time that day. You take it to the Fastpass line. They only do this if the child is UNDER the height restriction. If they are over it but choose not to ride, they will have you all go to the regular line (or Fastpass line if you all have Fastpasses) and child swap right at the ride itself.

No special child swap line.
