Hi-

What happens if you have unused passes that you bought when your child was 6-9, but is now 10 or above??

Do you have to pay to upgrade??

How much is it??

How do you do it??

Thanks in advance-

Nope in January I was told by guest relations at the Magic Kingdom that Disney does not charge guests for getting older. They exchanged his ticket free of charge for an adult ticket. Hope this helps.

Just take the ticket to guest relations at any park and they will upgrade the ticket free of charge. It will have the same number of days and plus options as the childs ticket. The child must be present at the exchange and the dates must make sense. We did this last May outside Epcot with a friends son and it took about 5 minutes.

A nice reward for being honest. This year was our first with a "WDW adult"!!! Now if they could just get a job and support themselves at 10 we would have it made!!!

HAve a great trip..

You can exchange the child's ticket for a ( no charge to upgrade ) adult ticket, but they don't card children at the turnstiles, so if you don't want to stand in line at guest relations, just use the unexpired days on the ticket anyway. Since there's no charge for the adult upgrade and Disney won't receive any extra $$, this is not "dishonest" IMHO.

jarestel has a good point. We went recently and exchanged the ticket at Guest Relations and it took about 15-20 minutes.

On the other hand I wouldn't want to have a problem because we didn't want to wait in line.
