I ordered a wonderful ID Bracelet for my son who has Autism. It was perfect and waterproof. We used it last trip and he kept it on the whole time.

I let him wear it when we hit the bike trails a couple of weekends ago and now I can't find it.

We leave TOMORROW!

Do you know of any place within WDW that sells any kind of ID for children. I have two Autism ID Tattoos left over from last year and I usually use those in the waterparks but I really want something on him - just in case. He is 6.

Worse case - I will stick something in his lanyard but we don't usually wear them at the waterparks.

I am looking for a velcro type bracelet. So if anyone has seen anything like that in WDW can you let me know.

Thanks

I just used to pin our name and resort to the back of DS's shirt where he couldn't reach it. He is autistic and couldn't talk. Now, I would add our cell phone number, too.

get him a rubber bracelet and write your cell phone numbers using a Sharpie marker. that way he can even wear it to the water parks. You can also write his name in his clothes in the parks go to city hall in MK and ask for a lost child tag. It is a paper tag with a string you can attack to say a belt loop strap. When we take my 15 yr old we get him a plastic landyard and put in his GAP and them i put a card with our cell numbers on it with a note that he is non-verbal autistic. in the future you might want to get him a medical allert bracelet :)

This is probably too late, but-

We got the boys dog tags at Wal-Mart. There is a machine up front, they were about $5. There are several Wal-Marts in the Orlando area.

It's not a bracelet but if he'll put up with a necklace, it works fine. And they're dog tags so they're not girlie-looking.

They also have a Disney dogtag machine at Downtown Disney. It's in the sports themed store, between that and the crystal shop.

I think there is a dogtag machine at the store at the Ticket and Transportation center too.

I did buy the Mickey "dog tag" at down town disney last January.

You can engrave 2 or 3 line. They are 10$ each.

My son liked it. The only thing is I don't know if people would of thought to look at it, if he was lost.

CMs would look for clothing name tags on the clothes like on collars as well as bracelets, necklaces, shoe tags, zipper tags, and dog tags. I know that if I found a kid I would turn it over to a CM and not look for ID as that is their job. CMs do try hard to find lost parents rest assured.

there is also a dog tag machine in the studios in the back
my son who has aspergers got one last trip just cause he thought it was cool
