Child dies in fire after aunt and mother leave kids alone in the house

There should be a parenting test you should have to take in order to reproduce. How can these people even call themselves parents/ guardians?

What people take away with the utter stupidity. This makes me sick.

At least their mother seemed upset but who leaves kids this young alone? Wackos.

I only watched the first video. As heavily edited as that youtube video was, I have to wonder if the question they asked her was, "Do you know how the fire started?" not "Do you regret leaving the children in there?" Her answer seemed to be more addressing how the fire was started. We didn't hear the question part and they cut away once during her answer.

It seems this video was set up to provoke drama. I'm not going to be outraged unless/until I see unedited footage.

I dont care out edited it was that piece of garbage cared more about her purse than the kids!

OMG! Her nephew is DEAD and her other nephew could very well DIE and she's worried about her PURSE? Edited or not- she's a piece of garbage. Worried about her food stamp card......... She'll probably cry when she realizes they'll get less food stamps since one boy died. :sad2:

My point exactly. You (collective you) don't care - you want something to be outraged about. People have no idea what question was asked or what the conversation was about; they just take it at face value so they have a reason to be outraged.

One would think after the whole "boy in the balloon" fiasco where people invested emotion worrying about a boy who was never in danger in the first place, people would realize that what they see on TV (or on YouTube of all places) isn't necessarily what's really going on. But I guess we're a nation of suckers.

As for me, I'll save my emotion for when there's something to be emotional about. Even if this is true and the aunt doesn't care, I have to ask myself: does this really have any impact on my life whatsoever? I can't help those boys, I can't say or do anything to the aunt. There's literally nothing I can do except act outraged and add to my own stress level.

Sorry. Not going to do that.

What do you expect from - never mind no mood for points this morning!

Leaving a 2 and 3 year old home alone isn't enough to get emotional? Regardless of what she said or thinks about her food stamps - they left those babies home alone twice in one day!

I know I don't need to see unedited footage to be outraged about a 2 and 3 year old being left alone and one ending up dead because of it. And I don't need to see any other questions about how she felt about the kids to be outraged that this woman was even a little bit concerned about her footstamps. What a piece of garbage, its cases like this that make me wish our judicial system was set up to punish an eye for an eye.

if something like this doesn't enrage you honestly I dont want to think about what will.. 1 dead kid one in the hospital good grief :sick:

Wow, really? I don't care if they asked her what color her shoes were - the thing that has us outraged is the fact that she's worried about her food stamps and her purse and LAUGHING while her nephews are dead/dying.

Most of us don't choose what to be outraged or upset by. Human emotions are funny like that.

Disgusting.
I have a feeling she is mentally ill.

Once again I'm saying on a discussion board  that people are discussing something. How you determine anyone's "stress level" is beyond me. If you don't give a **** about anything that doesn't affect you...yay for you. You must be so together. :sad2:

Well aren't you miss high and mighty! Glad to know that YOU know what things deserve and don't deserve outrage and so glad that you took the time to post on this thread, SURE HOPE it didn't stress you out to much. The fact that young children were left alone and then burned to death doesn't upset you? But I'm not surprised because every time I see you post on a thread, seems like it's usually something designed to :stir:

WOW you showed more outrage when you found out someone's 2 year old annoyed some old lady at Walmart on another thread..

Well, I guess she's been affected before by an unruly child in a store...not so much by a woman more concerned about her food stamps than her nephews being killed/hurt in a fire when she left them alone. :sad2:

Well aren't you miss high and mighty!

From what I've seen, I'm pretty sure you hit the nail on the head. :sad2:
