Child Ages for Park Passes

As said everyone has to make their own judgement. My daughter turns 10 4 weeks before we travel. I have bought her an adult pass because there is not one attraction that we do without her.... she is right there on all the big rides, so why should she be paying any less than me ...... the only other "fair" way of doing it would be going back to the old e-ride attractions but then that wouldn't suit others ......

I don't begrudge a single penny on my park tickets because we do use them a lot and well .... but I do understand that not every family are as keen on the parks as we are.

thanks folks - will pass on the message loud and clear that the view is they should pay for her (from an insurance point of view should anything dreadful happen I doubt if they would be covered if they didnt buy her a ticket anyway).

Fortunately we never had to make this kind of decision - our sons were 8 and 11 when we first when to Disney and 10 (tall for his age too) and 13 the second time. It's because of our recommendations that they are going (we're letting them have some time in a studio at OKW too so we're just hoping they really enjoy it.)

Just to add a bit of a twist to the debate ..... I read something interesting on the Allearsnet website regarding using childrens' tickets for 10+ kids, that were partly used previously, when the child was UNDER 10 ;

Scroll right the way down past the table and the picture of the pay booth, and look under the section 'EXCHANGING OLD CHILDRENS TICKETS' (part of the Upgrading WDW Tickets Section)
