OK. I feel bad that I vanished for so long. I won't even bore you with the details of how crazy busy I've been. But I finally dusted off my laptop and thought I'd hop back on for a bit.

Colin and I went to see Bedtime Stories on Saturday. Cute movie! Yesterday I had to go to a wedding shower. I ate way too much and feel guilty today.

Lori 4 days till Disney. Are you in a packing frenzy yet? How's the new job? And Will?

It was another busy weekend. I had a work event yesterday and am trying to get myself organized. It's a tall task.

Haircut day today. I go this morning and Kendall and Colin go after school. Why does getting a haircut always make me so happy? Perhaps so I won't look like a ragamuffin any longer.

I'm looking forward to a 3 day weekend. Nothing planned -just to have the day off is a treat.

Yes Joanne the kids have the day off. Mark does still have work but we'll probably do something fun without him. I'm sure sleeping in for the kids is on the top of the list.

Ok, so it's 28 degrees here today. Way to chilly for us. Joanne we are having your kind of weather. Kindly keep it in New York please. So if it has to be this cold why can't we have a little of that white stuff to go with it? Fun for the kids and you know our whole town would shut down since we can't drive in it.

Susan are you nice and warm in sunny California?

It is nice, supposed to be 81 today. I can't complain.

It should be a nice weekend but then cool down again next week. By cool down I mean back in the 60's. That's pretty cold for me!

Happy Sunday morning. Sitting and Dising with a hot cup of coffee and no place to go is nice.

Joanne I took Kelsie shopping for a prom dress yesterday. How do you do it with two girls so close in age? I had sticker shock for sure. Her prom isn't until the first weekend in April but all her friends have been out and about shopping to get a jump on the rush I guess. That fits right into my thinking anyway because I'm such a planner.

Not too much happening here today. I think a lazy day of movie watching or board game playing is all that will be going on.

Many of the girls buy their Sweet 16 & prom dresses at this place:

The prices are very reasonable, Valererie dress was $129.
Hopefully for her Senior prom she'll go there also.
Danielle is so opposite I doubt she'll go the junior prom... unless Hot Topic sells gowns.

Joanne that dress shop looks like a wonderful place to shop for prom dresses but we don't have anything like that around here. Just specialty stores and that's where they pile on the $$$$$.

I slept in today which was nice because usually my internal clock wakes me up at the same time every day.

Prom dresses? Wow, that's off my radar. I didn't even enjoy my own prom although I recently found my date on Facebook!

My weekend was busy. I'm on an organization spree. It won't last but I'll give it a try.

Was being more organized your New Year's Resolution Susan? Great start so far. What have you done and what do you still have to do? I'm really a pretty organized person in general. I just hate clutter. It makes me nervous.
