Good Morning ladies.

Today is the last day of Christmas vacation for the kids. I think I'm just as sad as they are. It really went way too fast. I'm taking Kendall shopping today for school clothes. Everything I bought her in the summer no longer fits her. Major growth spurt happening here. At least some things might still be on sale from Christmas.

It's weird being back at work after a day off. I still get to look forward to the fact that it is Friday although yesterday felt like Sunday. Weird. Tomorrow I'm taking the tree down. I always dread that. Everything else is easy to put away but that tree is always such a pain.

Good Morning. My kids were not too happy about going back to school today. I loved not having a routine for two weeks but today real life sets back in.

I had a productive weekend of cleaning. I'm not happy about it either! I found mold on the wall in my guest room closet and had to pull everything out and start some major cleaning/repair work. Yuck.

It's Wednesday! This week is going by extremely slow though. I am desperate for another weekend.

How are things going with all the kids back in school? Our local schools have another week off.

Is it finally Thursday? Yes the schools are out another week. The kids I've talked to are actually ready to go back. I'm sure the parents are!

Susan do the kids around you get three weeks off at Christmas? Just wondering why the extra week. Maybe they started their break well after my kids. We got off on December 19th and went back on January 5th.

They got three weeks off. They started this back in 2000 when they were convinced the Y2K bug would destroy their computer systems.

That's a nice long break with room to go on vacation while everyone else heads back to school. Maybe whoever made that rule is a Disney fan. Perfect time to go.

Good morning all

My kids would love 3 weeks. They got off from Dec 23 and went back this past Monday. Although they can't complain they get a week off in February and another around Easter time.
I think come June it works out the same for everyone.

we have to start filling out the FAFSA financial aid forms this weekend.
I doubt we'll get anything with Valerie hopefully going to a state college. But everyone says you have to do it anyway.

Happy Friday! At last!

It's been the longest week ever! I've got to put my guest room back together this weekend. The closet has been cleaned out and I put in a cabinet so now I need to fill it and get the room back to where I could actually have guests. Right now there is a short path to the closet and to my computer chair.
