Chicks and Roosters...part 2

Muffy, that invisible thing you do freaks me out! I need a green light!!!

That sounds like a tag waiting to happen. :thumbsup2

Guess what today is? Go on, guess.

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL! :woohoo:

Susan I'll be thinking about you today. Good luck with the surgery and let us know when you can that you are all better.

Good morning all

Tricia, congrats on your last day of school. You can sleep in tomorrow! :cool1

Susan, I'll be thinking about you.

Morning! My surgery isn't until two so I've got hours to stress about it. I'm a little nervous. Thanks for your good thoughts.

No no! No stress! Calming thoughts..... Breathe in, breathe out..... It will all be fine and in a few days, you'll wonder what all the fuss was for.

You'll be MAGNIFICENT. =)

Good morning all :hippie:

Susan, I hope everything went well. We're thinking of you.

Did Tricia think she could sleep in because there's no school? :rolleyes1

Morning chicks.

I've already been out and about. I usually go to my Weight Watchers meetings on a Wednesday at noon. Yesterday the kids only had a half day of school so I had to skip. I went this morning just to weigh in. I finally hit 20 pounds. :woohoo:

I did sleep until 5:45 this morning. It's not a good as I'd like but it was better than 5:00. I'll see if I can do a little better tomorrow.

Susan think happy thoughts. We'll all be with you in spirit.

Congrats Tricia! :cool1:
I hit 20 pounds this week too.

Morning! I survived and now am struggling through pain again. At about 3:30 am, everything wore off and it wasn't fun. I do not like taking strong meds but right now vicodin is my friend!

Congrats on the 20 lbs to Muffy and Tricia! That is awesome. I was going to start WW the Monday after I broke my arm. Needless to say, I had to postpone.

Well, crap. If everyone is getting on the WW bandwagon, maybe I should too. I can't stand the thought of going to meetings though. I'll have to read up on it.

Susan, I'm glad you're finally on the mend. Just think of the Vicodin as your little friend for the next couple of days. It's there to get you through the rough times and make your forget your troubles.
Kinda like us. :grouphug:
Or ice cream.

Now, what was I saying about Weight Watchers?

I was going to do the online thing because none of the meetings are terribly convenient for me. It looks like they have some pretty good online tools. I am going to do it as soon as I am off the meds and feel stable. I wonder how much my cast weighs . . .

Hi Susan, it's good to hear from you.
Keep those vicodin close by at all time. ;)

Way to go. :thumbsup2 What are you doing?

I'm just doing my own diet.

breakfast - 2 granola bars
lunch- carrots & string beans, cottage doubles, 60 or 90 calorie yogurt and a 100 calorie snack bag
dinner- Lean Cuisines panninis or flatbread, salad and string beans.

I go on the treadmill 60 minutes a day, 6 times a week.

I've been dieting with 1 or 2 people so that helps us keep motivated.

A friend of mine is doing WW online and loves it. The meetings are going to be tough for me with the kids home during the summer. I can see now that I'm going to have to make myself go. Once I'm there I enjoy them and really do take good things from it. It's just to make myself get there.

Susan I would definitely give a pound or two for the cast. I hope you are pain free today.

Good morning people. :teeth: Why am I still the first one here and I actually slept until 6:15 today?

TGIF! :cool1:

Good morning all

Tricia, your body must still be in school time mode. I hope you get out of it shortly. ;)

Have a great weekend everyone!
