Yes we are. I only saw the first one back in High School and never really cared to watch as the others were made. Colin has a friend who is really in to Star Wars and he wanted to see them. My SIL has all six so we are trying to watch them all. Only two more to go.
Good morning! Happy Friday!
I'm all settled in for a long day of last minute studying. Today I will conquer the Neoclassical poets, Transcendentalism, and Petrarchan sonnets.
I'm actually excited about tomorrow, as I feel somewhat confident and am up for the challenge. It's sadistic--I know.
I'm taking a pause in spring cleaning. Can't stay long.
My aunt is currently looking at houses with my parents. She is wanting to buy around here. We are going out to dinner tonight which is good since I've been doing all the cooking. At my parents house too!
Arkie, how was your test?
Wendy, I hit Walmart briefly today too. I had an agenda and about 15 minutes to do it all. I ended up with toothpaste, dog bones, a light bulb (yes, just one -those new fancy ones are expensive!), fish food, and a bag of potting soil. I got home and realized that I didn't get anything fun for me.
I survived!!!
I drove down to Little Rock at 6 am Saturday. Checked in and started my first test at 7:30. I was finished with all of them at 4:00. Then I went out to the parking lot and collapsed!
I think I did pretty good. The one I thought would be the easiest was actually the hardest. The two I thought would be the hardest were actally not bad. Since then I've been going over the questions and my answers in my head, and I think I did OK. Certainly well enough to pass. Of course all but one of the essays required me to write about novels I haven't read! But I knew enough about the genres to churn out something decent.
Thank God that's behind me! Now I can start planning this July trip! Oh. And working on my resume. Can I use y'all as references!!!???
I'm glad it went well Arkie. I completely remember the feeling of relief when it was over. When I took the MSAT, I took it about an hour from home and I was so exhausted when it was over that I had to go shopping for a while before I could think about driving. After the RICA all of my classmates and I went out for drinks!
That's exactly what I did--the shopping, not the drinking! I went to Target and bought some summer t-shirts and capris. And took my time getting home. I wanted to be sure that I didn't get home til after DH and Will had left for mass!
