Chicks and Roosters...part 2

Just goes to prove that shopping is good for you!

Susan I don't have any fancy lightbulbs. :confused3 It must be a California thing. :lmao: Just kidding.

Wendy what did you pack so far?

I've got the fancy lightbulbs. It's kinda strange that when you first turn them on they're dim and then brighten..I like them though. Kinda of a soft light.

As for packing....:sad2: ... I have my laundry detergent and fabric softner packed. :rotfl: ... I don't want to get too ahead of myself. ;) I do have a list of things I need to get together. I've bought Ethan new clothes for the trip so I guess I'm just waiting to put them in the suitcase. Mommy needs a couple new outfits too...A good excuse to go shopping..:lovestruc

Good Morning Ladies.

Lori I'm glad the test is over and that you know you passed. :thumbsup2 I love all this talk about shopping. I must agree that any time is a good time to shop.

I survived!!!
I drove down to Little Rock at 6 am Saturday. Checked in and started my first test at 7:30. I was finished with all of them at 4:00. Then I went out to the parking lot and collapsed!
I think I did pretty good. The one I thought would be the easiest was actually the hardest. The two I thought would be the hardest were actally not bad. Since then I've been going over the questions and my answers in my head, and I think I did OK. Certainly well enough to pass. Of course all but one of the essays required me to write about novels I haven't read! But I knew enough about the genres to churn out something decent.
Thank God that's behind me! Now I can start planning this July trip! Oh. And working on my resume. Can I use y'all as references!!!???

Glad it well! :thumbsup2

Now you start planning as a reward

Good morning all!

We have some of those energy efficient lightbulbs. It took me some time to get used them.

Good morning! Is it Friday yet???

I don't mind them, but I just don't like the price. I'm buying one at a time when needed!

Susan I just noticed your ticker. Tomorrow is the big day. Whatever are you going to do?

Oh my gosh! Susan, you have to call in sick! At least go to the beach or something--and then write us a trip report. Speaking of trip reports, where's Michelle?

Rise and Shine people. I shouldn't have to be the only one up.

Lori you need a new ticker too. Disney in July will be here before you know it.

I'm up and awake but I'd rather be home in my pj's. :)

Good morning all :hippie:

Lori you need a new ticker too. Disney in July will be here before you know it.

That's what the 106 days thing is at the top. We're likening ourselves to the Griswolds because in my head, that's how I see it all going down.

Today is the day! Yeah! And true to my ticker, nothing is happening!

I'm at work, I plan for a very normal day and I'll go home to watch Survivor, BB and American Idol (how I'll fit them all in I don't know). Yeah, it's exciting. I think I'll go start a thread and see if I get any suggestions. . .

Hi all! It's raining like CRAZY here... At least it's not snow...

Of course today I went shopping for a few more things...The stores love me before vacation...:goodvibes

:cheer2: YIPPPEEEE!!!!! GUESS WHAT???:cheer2:

I just got online to check airline tickets even though I already have ours..They are almost $300 dollars cheaper now...I took a chance and called the airline figuring they wouldn't be able to refund anything...They did it WITHOUT ANY HASSLE...and the gentleman was really nice...

:cool1: THAT'S $300 EXTRA DOLLARS FOR DISNEY!!!!!! :cool1:

I THINK I'LL DO THE BANANA DANCE

:dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

I'm having a crisis.
A reality tv crisis.
Tonight is a reality-heavy night requiring diligence and commitment. Survivor, American Idol, Big Brother, and even the ignoble America's Next Top Model. Normally, I can juggle these with the assistance of my DVR--God's gift to those of us with less than exciting lives.
But my DVR is currently out of commission.
What to do?

Oooh, that is a dilemma. I have the same one, except add a few more and take out Top Model cause I don't get that channel. I have a secret though. . . I'm currently getting eastern feed and western feed channels so here is my tv plan for the night.

DVR: 6:00 American Idol, 8:00 Ghost Hunters, 10:00 Top Chef
VCR : 5:00 Survivor, 6:00 Big Brother

I'm pitiful aren't I? :sad2:

Oooh. Dual time zones plus a DVR. The tv-addict's triumvirate! :cool2:
