That was truly an awesome game. Jody Meeks hit a 3-pointer with about 5 seconds left that won the game for UK, with Florida's Nick Calathes in his face. That was probably the most exciting UK game I've ever been to. You might not have seen me on camera, but I sat next to someone famous.

Thanks for the kind words. I got a lot of grief at work about the dog so it's nice to have support! She is home and doing great. They didn't put a cast on her leg so she has to wear a cone at night and when she's alone in order to not lick and chew her stitches. That led to a very long night. I think I'm working on 4 hours of sleep at this point.

So Grim, who did you sit by? Tell us!

Sorry I was absent all weekend, I didn't get my V-Day greetings in! I hope you all had really great weekends.

Daisy seemed to discover that she's a puppy yesterday. She will now be known as Daisy the Destroyer. After a week of nothing but cuddles, she's now into everything. It's been fun.

Going to get a haircut today. It seems as every six weeks sneeks up on me so fast. If I go any longer I just look like a big mess. I guess when you have short hair it needs more matanance than longer hair.

My kids don't get President's Day off. Maybe because it always falls right before or right after Mardi Gras. They do get the whole week off for that so it's probably just too much.

Susan does Daisy seem to be adjusting to her cast? How's she doing? Puppy updates please.

Susan your hair must grow very slow to not get a hair cut in nine months. I get mine cut every six weeks. I do have short hair though so you need to keep up with that.

Joanne I noticed you typed in grey and I probably would have said gray. I've never known what the difference of gray and grey is? Maybe it's time to find out. Google here I come.

According to Google Answers, the two words have almost the same meaning in all cases, and g-r-a-y is simply an American derivation of the original spelling g-r-e-y.
Gray is a color.

Grey is a *colour*.

Daisy isn't actually in a cast, she just has five staples holding her leg together. You can see it in the picture below. She's doing good. She's feeling great which means she's causing havoc. She had a time out last night. I can't wait to get her into puppy preschool. As soon as those staples are out, she's gonna get an education!
