Chicken exit for Haunted Masion?

If my DD5 is willing to try this, is there a chicken exit before getting on th doom buggies-- if she changes her mind?

Yes, Just after you exit the Stretch rooms there is a door on the right side that says "Full Of Fear? Exit Here" (Not to be confused with the door on the left that says "Servants only")

Also if she gets scared in the foyer waiting to go into the stretch rooms you can exit through the door that is opposite the entrance you came in (it is the only door in the foyer area and has an illuminated Exit sign above it).

Both hallways will lead you to the exit of the ride so if you have others that are going through you can wait there for them

Ahh .. this brings back memories. I must have gone out that door 8 times with my mom before I actually rode the first time.

I think I was your DD's age when I first made it through (maybe 6). I have no idea if this will help you, but it was actually the picture in the foyer that made me chicken out. It 'transforms' from a young man (Master Gracey, I presume) to a skeleton. Always gave me the wiggins. Once I made it past that, I *loved* the ride the first time through and made my parents take me again and again. lol

So, if skeletons aren't your daughter's thing, or she's feeling nervous, maybe avoid letting her look at the picture.

Make sure you hold her hand in the stretch room. DS 4 freaked out when it went dark, and mom and dad were not in sight. Used the Full of Fear exit, but he's willing to give it another try now that he's 5.

A word of caution, if you get to the room with the Doom Buggies and she decides she wants out, she will have to ride the ride. At least thats what the CM told me when my DS then 5 started freaking out and climbing up my leg. I asked for the chicken exit and he said the only way out now is to ride. Made for a horrible experience and DS now 7 still won't ride again.
