Might be a little convoluted. I live in WI and have a flight booked Oct. 14th MDW-MCO. If WI is still on the Chicago quarantine list at that time is that going to cause me any issues? I'm driving out of WI, directly to MDW, getting on my flight to MCO. When I return I'm getting out of IL just as fast I can back into WI.

It shouldn't be an issue. We live in MI and flew MDW > MCO and back twice now since the parks reopened. No one said anything to us about quarantining. The only thing you hear is a recording every so often at MDW telling you to check whether where you came from is on the quarantine list.

We did self-quarantine for 2 weeks once we got home, lest anyone think we were being reckless. ;)

We live just west of Chicago and would much rather fly out of Milwaukee than drive thru the traffic to get to Midway. O'hare is 40 minutes, Midway 70 minutes, and Milwaukee about 90. With traffic and parking, Milwaukee is our favorite.

Money rules though. $90 RT out of MDW and $450 RT out of MKE. I'm actually going to be coming from an hour north of MKE.

I'm not sure what the rules are there, but here in NY, you have to be in one of the states on the list for at least 24 hours before you're required to quarantine. So if you're just passing through, you shouldn't be required to quarantine.

But would I have to quarantine if I was only traveling into NY to fly out of LGA?

Sorry, I was thinking of it backwards. In this case, yes, I believe the expectation would be that the person would be expected to quarantine. I've been following the guidance because we will be potentially impacted next month as well, and the only exemption I've seen for people coming into New York after having been elsewhere longer than 24 hours is for essential workers. That said, the only way they are tracking it here in NY are through traveler health forms which are self-completed online, and through forms you complete upon arrival at the airport. Nothing on departure.
