Chicago Cubs in MK Today: NOV 5th

I know! We're from Cleveland and are actually here at Disney now. I would have changed our schedule to be at MK tomorrow, but I'm staying as far away tomorrow as possible lol waaaaaah

Is Disney bringing the players and their families down to participate in the parade?

Or is the Cubs club sending the players and their families down and then Disney will make the parade arrangements?

Or are the players themselves making their own arrangements for their families and then Disney will invite them to join the parade?

If you are a Chicago Cubs fan and are at MK tomorrow, I say GO CUBS GO to the parade. I was just at the Cubs parade in Chicago today, it was AMAZING!!!!!

It's been insanity here, a party atmosphere for the last month (we live close to Wrigley).

Love my Cubbies, the awesome 2016 World Series Champions!! This was our year!! Finally! (Looking for a repeat next year!). Really wish I could have been there for this, we arrive next Saturday, of course! But how cool is it that it's in the top 3 parades of all time!
How cool to live near there or were able to go to the parade, you guys are lucky! I will say I'm glad I wasn't on our trip during the play off or the World Series games, would have been really torn about watching or going to the parks. Glad I got to watch everything and the won first!!

I decided to head in just to see what a "hero parade" at WDW was like. Never seen one. Not a big sports fan.

I didn't take a picture but first there was a 20ish minute wait to get through the parking stop on world drive, never seen it that far back before.. this was over an hour early so about 3:15ish I ran into it..

I needed to stop by contemporary for something so I didn't come into MK the normal way but when I made it through security this is what I saw to get into the park.



note the left side wasn't opened, and I didn't want to wig out security so this is about half the line to get into the park, and there was a longer line for bag check before you even got this far...

I decided to hide up on the train station for shade since I was really early and ran into the disney parks blog team getting ready for their live broadcast..



they closed off most of the train station even though they didn't need that much space.. they also hogged the space inside the train station with seats with several peopel guarding gear they weren't using instead of just taking up 1 area.. not thrilled with this one, it's rather inconsiderate..
