Chicago Cubs Fans...This Old Cub~

Went to see the new movie/documentary This Old Cub today, about Ron Santo. I think any and all Cubs fans will enjoy this film. My 6yo DD sat thru it and she said she liked it too! (She was born with my Cubbie-blue blood)

It has many pictures I've never seen before and, stories I hadn't heard before (believe it or not!). It was a smile a minute I think.

Ron Santo is an amazing man, imo. Not enough words could describe how amazing I think he is. So positive, so happy.

It is being shown very limited unfortunately. I think only 6 theaters in Chicago and the suburbs but, if you can, go and see it.

We are planning on seeing it ths week since kids areoff for break. I just love Ron...I can't even remember the Cubs before him. I think it is extra special that his son did all the filming. Such a tresure for his family besides all of us lucky fans who get to have an inside peek at his life.

Streets of Woodfield theater. I thought it should have been shown in theater #10 but, it wasn't.

I am very fond of Ron Santo.. many reasons..
When I was in Grade school.......many centuries ago... I always played THIRD BASE when we played base/softball....

I doubt that the movie will make it to CA... but sure will be glad to watch it when it hits DVD!!

and lets all just hold hands now and everybody take a deep breath, close your eyes and say...

THIS YEAR THE CUBS ARE GOIN' ALL THE WAY!!!
