well...I have 4 words. In DUHsty we trusty~lol. my God I CANNOT believe he pitched to Rizzo AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!I decided to head to Wrigley from a family appointment...got there end of the second and decided to try and hit Sports Corner (Robin, my phone still on the DL and didn't have your # to try you from my DS phone. DS keep harping on me to get a new one) but WHAT A GAME!!!!!!!!!! I love SC as you can hear everything, Anthem, crowd, walk up songs, 7th inning, and see the scoreboard..wave to everyone in standing room and back row of the 500 level. Schwarb's...I'm not even mad. Yeah, he should've had it. He knows it, but he also knows he's way better than that and you move on.JHey and JJ2 coming over to him was huge and we all know Kyle is in there for his bat more than his fielding. Harper screwed up a way easier catch game 1.
I know is Cub Nation was throwing every hex, whammy and voo-doo on the no-no and it WORKED! CJ an absolute BEAST in the 8th and Zobie...man he can turn it on when it matters most. That play robbing Turner saved the game, and his double to break the no-no..AAJ clutch! Thank you again Dusty, for deciding to NOW pull Max , lol.....we were practically salivating at him making that move. Then there's "RESPECT ME" Rizzo!!!
https://gfycat.com/NegligibleAnchoredAmericanmarten You got my respect Riz...you ARE the Cubs offense so far!
an extra nice touch was being able to leave a message on the wall again this year....I wrote my usual GO CUBS! Lets Go, We Never Quit, along with Defend The Title...and then my DS wrote Let Baez Be Baez, lol....and some reporter was takng my pic and asking about me writing We did it Ulysses~that was the man I met on the train last year heading down for game 5. He went to the 1945 WS against Detroit. Said that was cool. Yes, yes it was. I will remember that day for a VERY long time.
Weather was fantastic, I'm sure Robin is going to have some greats pic's for us all..and LET'S GO!!!!!!!!!!!!! CUBS IN 4!!!!!!
it was just announced that tomorrows game will remain at 4:38 due to impending weather no matter what the outcome of the Yankee game tonight.
