Kinda a sucky game. I got to sit with Pam for a couple uneventful innings.

Just got home, but, LOL I was coming here to post the same of sitting with Robin, ~great minds I DID have a highlight, however...my brother and SIL surprised me with a new jersery...I love my Miggy , esp with his signature on it, but the torch has been passed to Willy, and I got to meet Willy as well as Miggy, so ...I am the proud wearer of the 40 now too! Got to see Ryno in a quick wave/passbye too!(that part was kinda funny as Robin/magic number/jinx thing, lol) Today's lesson boys and girls, is do not let Pam attend a game Monty is starting. I am 0-2...but all W's when seeing Jake. Happ's homer was fun , the only highlight, but fun.
Now on to the important stuff, Javy. You could hear the whole section gasp when he hit/slid. He also looked safe to us. Guess he is cleared of a concussion but when he called the trainer out to the field pointing to either side of his eyes, uh-oh. ETA:Just read he was kneed in the eye...I think this is gonna be more than a game.Thankfully a S.S. was on the short list of call-ups the other day. Seeing Freeman a little sooner than we had planned on..but Maples did o.k. Better than Pena Still fun to see new guys making their debut.
Off to watch highlight's, cuss out Dusty and his useless team and start a new W streak tomorrow.

So a year ago today, after 13 Cub/Giant innings, Cueto and a JHey Clutch game~ We flew the W~ AND THEN this selfie happened. Yesterday after the game, my brother and SIL gave a print out pic to my DS, that they were able to get SIGNED by Len and JD! DS was too sick to make yesterday's game with us, but this was dang good medicine after. We love Len and JD...AND Pat, Ron and Mark, They are next, lol. The guy photobombing makes the pic even better

Didn't see the game, caught bits and pieces of Pat and Ron. DVR'd and just blew thru it, but WHAT was that call from the Ump on Grimm's pitch /Avila pick off at 2nd? That was a strike/dbl play! Ump was squeezing Jake too Uggghhhh...I know our bats went cold but man, so wasn't gonna change the game but that was absolutely ridiculous.

Jake....you are in wicked great shape, you can bounce back from this.

That stinks. Sorry. Hope you can find someone to buy them so you don't lose your shirt. Doesn't like I'm going to make it up there this year. Was trying to go back in August and catch the air show also, but conserving finances. Had to cancel our Disney trip for later this month for same reason.

Bummer you had to cancel,,,I go with "postpone" when plans gets messed up. Mentally , less brutal than cancelled. You're DVC tho, right? You will find a way! Gotta get that Cub's mentality of We Never Quit!

Well, part of me says you're right, but a bigger part of me is looking for ways to conserve funds and possibly facilitate a lifestyle change well before the 67-1/2 limit imposed by the gumment.

Along with that, I'm even considering selling my DVC. Just one of many options on the table.
