Me too! I've been to Kyoto twice, but both times in the summer.

Yea I loved Kyoto. I've taken a lot of trips and Japan was my favorite. Like you, I went in the summer (October). Want to go again either during cherry blossom season or during the winter to visit the onsens.

My DS and I are in the The Cub's Movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We finally got the chance to watch it all the way through last night.
There is footage of a Dad and son playing catch (the son has his hair painted blue and red) I remarked 'Hey! I remember taking a picture of those 2" and right then DS yells "That's US! lol..we are walking along Waveland before game #3 and show up in the background at 27:11(ish) to 27:12. Blurry image from my phone..but what a riot!

what's even crazier is my son and I remarked that we saw someone else taking a picture of the dad playing ball,, and I caught the photographer in my picture, lol.
