Just got home from the game. Amazing night and what a duel! This team battled and won! The environment was electric. Now on to game 2 and hopefully another W!

do you remember Oct 13th against the Card's in last years playoffs? His homer was the game changer then too! He sure has matured in his patience at bat..his single isn't getting much credit but that also cracked the shell of Cueto . Our guys started connecting.

I just got back too! What a great game. CUBS WIN! I'm sorry we couldn't hang around ... we have a teenager at home KWIM.

The Cubs team busses passed our little yellow school bus remote parking lot shuttle on their way to the airport. Apparently they were all packed and ready to go for their road trip.

Awesome, thanks for posting the pics! I was babysitting the grandbabies so did not get an uninterrupted viewing opportunity but did manage to see the highs and lows I think.

My Metsies are out, so I am a big Cubs fan for the rest of the postseason.

I can't lie I have a crush on Kris Bryant....and I've been to a Cubs game, Wrigley is rocking.....and the Cubs need to win already....so

Great pic's Robin...I was hoping to get there by 5 but we had bathroom fans being fully installed and the guys showed up 90 minutes late :mad:

Traffic on 55 and LSD was nuts by the time we hit the road. Install was supposed to be last Saturday but the rain forced us to reschedule since holes were being cut in the roof, lol. I was just thrilled we got in to SC...had to wait a few but roof top had room and we knew peeps would be leaving to head into the game so got a table pretty quickly (tho not our lucky table, but now we have ANOTHER one!) LOVE hearing the crowd. We hung out a bit and then caught the Team buses just leaving too! Joe was just boarding and Lackey..held our W flag as they drove off..Theo had a bus practically to himself, the WAGS on another. We hit the road pretty much after that. Glad you got home safely. Travis got his HR ball..thrilled for him~something about pitcher's named Wood

My DD was streaming the game in S.F....pulling for her Cubbie's. Gonna need her mojo out there tomorrow, toughest game of the series (to me)
