Yeah, that call has always been screwy. The runner is supposed to stay in the lane in foul territory, but the bag is fair territory. Talk about an idiotic rule. Also, if you look at where the ball hit him, it was his leg as he was hitting the bag so the interference call is BOGUS. (take first and last letter of that word --- it's that too!)
Happy to here we got the W!!! Speaking of Happ...he seems to be struggling a bit the last two games. Come on Happ, we want to see the hair on fire you again!!!
That call is why the 3rd *strike* call happened in the 9th...karma /Ump realizing goof, call it what you will. Joe speaking highly of the Ump in the post game was certainly appreciated, lol...at least by me given we still have todays game. Davis had an off-ish game, it's going to happen~ I'm just glad we didn't have to go further into the pen as Butler pitching tonight and really glad we have Monty (shout out to Robin and her baseball!). Hoping we see the STL "The Butler did it" version tonight, lol. Happ? the more big league pitching the guy sees the more he is going to level out, and then rise again. So many calling for AAJ to be sent down and make Happ a starter, trade Javy/Schwarbs for pitching..between Happ and Bam Bam you have what, 130 games? If Happ stays up and plays a lot he will benefit, If not, really need to send him back so he can keep playing, AAJ doing all he can to stay consistent with reduced playing time, its hard. Javy really letting the Suits know he is not going quietly and IMHO he isn't going anywhere until the off-season, IF then. JHey right on it, he is seeing the ball great..the wind last night didn't do him any favors, and that's 3rd bomb he has hit right along the RF line, one is gonna stay fair ...Not sure he will be starting today tho, as his #'s against Samardzija are not that great and he has been doing pretty good for the Giants this season despite their record.
Would really REALLY love the W today (esp since STL won last night) and head into L.A. with momentum.
Also waiting for the haters to start ragging on the bullpen for the dancing attention, and then struggling a bit
