man, Q had a great game~ what a waste. Zo covering a LOT of real estate tonight, and the Joe West show as expected. Nice bomb by Javy but can't leave the bases loaded twice and not get any. I was looking for Schwarb's to PH but Vic appeared (maybe based on his homer the other day?) TLS zoning out thinking there were 2 outs with the tootblan. So bummed JHey on the DL, but looking forward to seeing KB starting tomorrow! Brewers get Curtis Granderson and Gonzales but I think the best thing out of that trade is it altered the Nats rotation so now they miss Scherzer. I am pretty sure they actually tried to do that. Well, turn the page, be happy they don't have to catch another flight tonight and get em tomorrow!

Really we are 94-43 Last I looked White Sox were 23 games back, that's like saying we should we should be worried about Baltimore in our division.

Jumping in here late ( as usual!)... my DS and friends (well, not the one who is a Braves fan) had a great time at the game in ATL. My kiddo said when the crowd was chanting "MVP!" for Javy it was so loud he got goosebumps. And Doc, you got on tv AND Zo's autograph??? Thats awesome!

Cards lost and lets see what they do with actually facing a good pitcher in Scherzer tomorrow. They have dodged every ACE in just about every series. Meanwhile, in the last WEEK, the Cubs have won games started by Noah Syndergaard, Jacob deGrom, Mike Foltynewicz & Aaron Nola. After the Brewers~ we get to face Strasburg & Scherzer B2B.
Brewers took 2nd place now, see ya tomorrow Brew Crew! Everyone keeps asking why they didn't get pitching, I kept saying because they will get Davies back and don't be shocked to see Nelson. Brewers were very , very quiet about both of them all season.

About one hour to game time and I have the eye of a tropical storm 14 miles away and bearing down. Hopefully we won't lose power, but we will probably lose television intermittently. So I may have to follow the play by play on the computer or tablet. Only expecting 3-5 inches of rain with 30-40 mph winds. Could be a lot worse. Might blow the red tide out into the Gulf of Mexico and that would be good.

Brought my W flag in off the front porch with the gusting winds. Hope it won't jinx them. Almost put my LSU flag out last night, too, since they beat Univ of Miami last night.

There were a lot of mis-steps in that game.
Murphy should've had that throw.
Kyle shouldn't have tried to gun the guy at home...no chance.
CJ...you can't walk that many batters and remain unscathed.
I think some of the calls at the plate were questionable, but CJ was missing.
Two hit batters.
Trying for two instead of coming home.
Just too many fundamental mistakes bit us in the butt.

Okay guys, come back stronger and hungrier tomorrow.

It's raining and the satellite went off right at the eighth inning and didn't come back on until the commercials after the game. Followed the play by play for those two innings. It is not very satisfying to yell at the tablet when you want to yell at the television. Was CJ also thrown out of the game or just Joe?

We have a little street flooding, but nothing bad. The eye has passed by and we're on the tail end of the storm. Should stop raining around 8PM.

It matter's, lol. Thanks Doc ! CJ extra generous giving the gifts away on his own birthday I have only one CLEAR ump call that was game changing, and that was the 3rd strike to Braun. Willy missing that wild pitch hurt, bullpen hurt, but boy did Rizzo's bomb off Hader FEEL GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!

glad the storm was downgraded, sorry you lost the visual on the game (but really, maybe you were better off, bullpen was not fun to watch)

The Murphy non-tag on Arcia proved to be a balk after all. The ump called it but the announcers missed it at the time. Would’ve advanced anyway.
