What a great game yesterday! I had tickets but sold them at the last minute. We went to the Wisconsin Badger game vs LSU at Lambeau Field and that was a whole day affair. A Cubs game takes me a good 12-13 hours and I just wasn't up for two back-to-back long sports days.

Glad you had a great day, but shoot! I was looking for you as we had a change of seating options and ended up with terrace box tix in sec 208/ row 5. We ended up with 5 of us so were lucky to get seats together and ended up making $60 lol..would have been so close to each other. My old phone finally died the night before and I have my son's old one now, but we activated it quick and I don't have my contacts, which I realized when we got there and I went to text you. So I walked over and tried to find you~ Given the extra innings we went into, you would have been beat! I think it was about 7 when we were watching the busses depart and that sun setting on Joe, lol. Their police escort scooted them on out. Pretty sure Miller Park is going to have a boatload of Cub fan's today. They usually have a ton anyway but given the holiday, a few more on hand.:thumbsup2

I might go to one of the Miller Park games this week. Miller Park is WAY closer than Wrigley!

yes, you SHOULD! We thought about it, seriously, as the buses were leaving we all looked at each other, said, "we COULD follow, lol" only half joking. The profit we made would have bought 1 of the tix easy or at least the gas. However, we are squirreling it away in hopes of October, but those tix are going to be in$ane, you are one lucky lady Robin. Do I dare say keep October 28, 29 and 30 open? A weekend to boot? I get lightheaded just thinking about it :D

Let's just say that my DH and I have been making some hotel reservations ...

I share my tickets with friends, so I get half the games. When there are an odd number of games, I get one ticket for the last game. I'll still try to get into the park somewhere and if I can't, there's no better place than Wrigleyville to watch.

Mitch and Len after the W! We LOVE Len and JD :worship::love:! The guy photobombing, lol:earseek:

whups! sorry so big!

4 guys brought back up today ~
Amlora Jr., Kawasaki (love him), Federowicz, and Patton. Kawasaki was a hoot in his interview. When asked what he has been working on, he replied, "English and Spanish! Baseball is easy, English, haaaaaaarrrd" lol

Hammer on the mound tonight!

well yesterday's game was a bummer, Hammel just not in a zone, but awesome catch by JHey, 2 bombs for Rizzo and Miggy clocks one too! LOVED seeing Kawasaki

:D! Javy a little sloppy, but remembering back to Addie's injury during last years playoff, I know Joe needs to see who does what where again (like Cog's at 3rd) Let's get 'em tonight boy's! Grab a W at Wrigley North!

Love this thread! Not a Cubs fan per se but def a Joe Maddon fan. My friend is one of the clubbies and he says Joe is a great guy. Wish the Yankees had him!

I didn't watch the game, but I followed it on my phone using MLB At Bat (I paid for it so I can stream Pat & Ron). We're not going to win every game. What I liked about the game is that they still hit the ball and scored runs even when they were 8 runs down.

Agreed! Hey, they still have to clinch and fighting for post season home field advantage. Rizzo's efforts last night cost him a night off tonight, lol...Joe said Riz didn't look that tired (you know, 2 homers no big deal :D)Lot's of work to do yet

Posting today on something more impressive than the Cub's standings thus far.

As great an athlete as Anthony is, he's an even MORE impressive human being. It is AWESOME that Rizzo is nominated for the FOURTH time for the Roberto Clemente Award~but he has yet to be awarded it. If you have a twitter account, please take a moment and vote for Mr. Rizzo, thank you! You can add #VoteRizzo to EVERY tweet you make through October 2, 2016.
