Just a quick update -- just for you Slo since you wanted to know.

DD made the special choir. (Ok, so this one has music notes coming out his mouth that's why I'm using it!).

Now...the trick of getting her to school at 7:30 AM every Wed. morning!!! She is so not my early bird child.

It starts this Wed. along with the $40 that goes along with it. I think we are supposed to order t-shirts too at some point in time -- however, do you think I can find the form with all the information that had the permission slip on it that I signed? Nope. I'm sure it's buried here in this pile of papers called a desk.

I'm in paper overload now that school has started!!! My 7 year old has Cub Scouts tonight and I can't find the newsletter I was just handed last Monday! I thought it was in his book but I found his book & no newsletter, so . I think we have a meeting tonight.

Congratulations to all the new engagements, sorry to see summer end for everyone, get better everyone (at least I'm feeling better -- just a bit stuffy but not horrible so at least my bug was quick lived), have a good vacation. I hope that covers most everything. I'm sure I missed something so for those that I missed, Hi there!

Looks like I"m putting the air conditioning on today, and for the rest of the week - it's going to be warm outside!!! Seeing the warm weather for the weekend too, is bumming me out that we covered the pool. Oh well - this year is always a crap shoot on when we should do it

Ran out last night and bought more rain ponchos!!! At least we will attempt to stay dry! I think I'll pack a small umbrella too.
A good amount of packing is done.
Need to finish laundry today and run some errands.

slo I forgot to ask you if Kevin put on his scuba gear to get into the pool's cold water the other day in an attempt to try and stay warm!!!!
I doubt it is going to stop raining in FL! We'll just have to deal with it!
We've been there when it's drizzled for a short time and one trip where it down poured for a short while, so we'll survive!

piglet Sorry to hear that your DS is sick! Pneumonia is not fun at all. DH had it a couple years ago. It took a couple weeks before he was 100% better as it takes such a beating on your body. Let's hope that since your son is young he will feel better quickly!

Just FYI... If you ever need to buy these on WDW property, the best deal I ever found was at the House of Blues gift shop. They were white with blue HoB logos all over them. Plus, they were much larger than the Disney ones (which, having met me, you'll understand is a big bonus in my book). I think we paid $3 or $4 at the time. Not sure if they still carry them.

I have one WDW rain poncho left from our trip in 2002!!!!! (in perfect condition too!)
And it is HUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGE!! This is actually going to be our stroller's rain poncho!

Slo our pool is down, hanging to dry after I scrubbed it out. I have to turn it inside out now to dry the other side out good tomorrow. Then pack it away til next year.

I have not checkedin in a little while. We have been repainting the kids' bathroom in Fidning Nemo theme. I just painted the bottom half of the wall a sea green/blue...called Ariel's Afternoon Swim...painted 2 colors of seaweed and not doing touch ups on the wave line. Gosh, that takes a long time. I am also going to stamp some little clown fish around the bathroom and possibly a Nemo mural on the wall...I am still thinking about that because I am already tired of being in there everyday painting!
I have to order the Nemo bath accessories online in the next couple of days. Needless to say, it has been taking up all my free time to be on the disboards...
Hope everyone is doing okay!
Also, my DD12 made the 7th grade volleyball team, so we have been at tons of games! She was so excited about that!!!
DS2 has started KidRock through the Huntley Park District and we have been going to that every week. He also has speech on Thursdays...not a big talker, but definitely making some great progress!
