I don't mean to mislead and here is a quote from the article I posted. The drink refills are free with the $7.49 kids meals as long as it ain't milk. However, I don't ever remember being charged extra for Ice Tea at TS restaurants.

"Dare I even mention that things evolve in restaurants all the time anyway? Consider child meals. A few years ago, these were $3.99 at all parks and hotels. Then, at the table-service restaurants, the price went up to $7.49, but also included were an appetizer and a dessert. You could still get the $3.99 version, though it wasn’t listed on the page—you had to know to ask. Even more recently, we’ve found that the $3.99 version no longer includes drinks... drinks are only included if you get the $7.49 version. And lastly, drink refills for kids are possible... so long as your kids aren’t drinking milk, which you have to pay for now, for each refill. So much for Disney putting a renewed focus on healthy eating."

Anyone know where you can get spiral notebooks *without* perforations?

That is what is on my 2nd graders list and I honestly don't think they make any spiral notebooks without the perforated pages anymore! I need 70 page wide ruled ones.

I still have a few more stores to check but I thought if anyone knew off the bat for sure where to find such a thing, I could just go there.

Morning everyone. Having major computer problems, so hoping I can actually get this to post.

Bunchkin ~ No asthma here. I have had a problem getting what I feel like is a full breath (on occasion only) for about 9 years. They have tested me and said there is nothing wrong.

SamIAm ~ I don't think I would use a dining plan either if that is how it is working. We love getting appetizers and almost always need at least one refill.

Hi there - we posted at around the same time :wave2:

I hope your computer gets better soon - I hate computer problems :wizard:

I wonder why the school cares about this :confused3
When you find out, let us know - I'm curious :scratchin

I wish I could help you, but I don't know :confused3
Did you try the office stores like Staples, Office Max, Office Depot, etc?
Good luck!!!! :wizard:

Crissup Too many initials/abbreviations in your last post!!!

LOL!! Yes, when I worked there, we could have complete conversations using practically nothing but acronyms. Didn't stop us from printing out hundreds of pages of reports that no one ever looked at though. We used to believe that APS (Advanced Photon Source) stood for the Advanced Paper Source. :lmao:

Not yet. They only started requesting the no perforation for the younger grades in the recent years. I do know a teacher even requested it last year for DD & we couldn't find one to save our lives. So, we punted. What I heard is that especially for the younger kids, the pages tend to start ripping out when you don't want them too. Since our kids usually use them as journals, they won't be tearing the pages out to turn in or anything like that.

Who knows...I will keep looking but can't find anything before school starts I guess I'll just have to buy the perforated kind. I hate going against what they are asking for when they put it as "NO PERFORATIONS" -- guess they really don't want you to get that kind. :rotfl2:

Hello and good afternoon all:)

I have 3 more work days until vacation and I do not want to be here. I think I am in vacation mode already.

I was wondering I scheduled DD for the Wonderland Tea Party, Has anyone else done this? It sounds awesome but you know sometimes Disney makes things sound better then they acutally are.

I have not started packing yet. I know Friday night I will be running through the house grabbing things and will forget something i'm sure. I need to get on the ball and get going. But I hate packing!

Take care all of you, this heat has been so bad. If you can just stay home, put your feet up and watch some tv. I would do that if I didn't have to be at work today.

Well I need to get back to work. Have a great day everyone and stay cool.

:thumbsup2 Thank you. I hadn't made it to Wal-Mart yet but it was on my agenda. I just didn't know if I wanted to run all the way there & not have those. It's not that far away, just Wal-Mart isn't my favorite place (although ours still has fabric -- so it's a dangerous place $$$ for me! :lmao: ).

We have a most everything else (except I think we are going to have to buy a lot of my 2nd graders things again -- we can't find his pencil case from last year which means -- new pair of scissors, new pencil case, etc...).

NO REFILLS ON MILK!!!!
What is the world (of Disney) coming to??? :sad2:

That's the biggest piece of you-know-what I've heard all week.

That really burns my chaps!!

slo You're not the only one who thinks Hunter and Lauren look alike in that picture at my house. I should show you their baby pics some time. Identical!!!! ::yes:: When Hunter was first born I would tell people all the time that I had twins.......just 5 years apart!! :rotfl: ;)

And oh yeah......get to work!!! :rotfl:

John When I was an insurance underwriter we spoke in codes/acronyms all the time too. :)

Disneynut The tea party sounds nice but we've never have gone there yet and tried it. I say go and come back and tell us all about it!! :thumbsup2

We just bought some spiral notebooks w/o the perforated edge at Office Max. :) .10

:thumbsup2 Thank you!!! Now I have at least 2 places to look & I know the notebooks exist!!!

I was thinking I was going to have to go on a wild goose chase & not even sure what I was looking for existed.

OK, glad I used the phone first method today. Neither of the Dis. Stores near me have any HSM backpacks in stock. But the lady in Indiana said they were expecting to get some in tomorrow. So, I guess I head that way tomorrow instead of today.
slo, I guess I will check in with you tomorrow instead.:thumbsup2 Now let's just hope that lady knew what she was talking about. Long way to go for Nada.
So, I am just :surfweb: bored, and needing a nap. Can't convince the kiddies to go out for a bit and swim. Too Hot.:scared1: I was never inside on a summer day.

Many of you might already listen to DIS Radio, but did you know there are other Disney radio selections on Live 365?

Here's a link to other Disney music to listen to from your computer!

You can also choose from tons of other genres of music to listen to. :thumbsup2

Another very loud and stormy night!!
Katie didn't make it through this one - she ended up on the floor next to Stephanie:rolleyes:
My floor is getting a lot of use lately :)

Crissup & DMM - :wave2:

Becky - That makes sense about the perforated edges. I hope you find them at Wal-Mart:wizard:

Disneynut - I haven't done the tea party, so I can't help with that :guilty: But I will send some PD your way to help you with your packing:wizard: I personally don't mind packing - it's the unpacking that I hate!!!!!

Bunchkin - I would love to see the kids baby pictures sometime :)
**I did finally get to work, and I have alot to do today :thumbsup2
**Thanks for the link!!!! :)

Tigggerrnnnnnnn - I would call again before you come all this way. Just so you know, I'll only be at work today until about 3pm because I have to go register Stephanie for school :teacher:

Well, it's time to get ready for work
Have a great and wonderful day today everyone!!

Morning everyone

Bunchy! Thanks so much for reminding me about online renewals! hahaha! Go figure, i spend all this time online and I forgot about that :) I put a post it on my desk, in case i ever need to remember!

Hope you all have a good thursday!! We got off to a rocky start this morning b/c we had forgotten that today is the first day of our new garbage day and when i walked DH to the door, we saw the garbage truck 3 driveways down!! :earseek: You have never seen 2 people move so fast!

Good morning! I feel like we should all turn into ducks. We have had soo much rain lately.

Tonight I register Alex for middle school. He is so excited and nervous at the same time.

Phones are starting already I'll check in later.

Morning all.
Hersey, if my phone rings at this hour, I panic-WHO DIED!!:lmao:
I was awakened by a barfing dog this morning before 7am. I am so not a morning person.
Nothing else to do, so I watched Hannah Montana episodes on the computer. If I'd turned on the TV, the kids would wake up.
Another night of DS in my room. Short storm though,so kicked him out quickly.:rotfl:

Good morning all!!

Has anyone here eaten at Coral Reef? Looking for opinions as we have a ressie for lunch there. Would have preferred dinner but every place in Epcot is totally booked, as usual! This is another reason I will probably not be doing any more free dining if it's ever offered again.

And what do you think of the choice between eating at Whispering Canyon Cafe or Kona Cafe? I have a ressie for each on the same day. Not sure which one I want to go to. We've (the kids and I) been to Kona before and loved it. Never been to WCC. Can anyone tell me about their food? Already know of the antics that go on there. :)

slo Good luck with registration today, hopefully it won't be too busy.
Neither of my kids woke up because of the storms. It woke me and I kept thinking that at any moment Hunter would pay me a visit but he didn't. :)

DMM We've had those 'race to get the garbage out' moments too! :rotfl: Usually happens after returning from a trip. :)

Hersey Yeah, you get to work too!! :rotfl: ;)

Have a great day everyone!! :goodvibes

Tiggerrn Ok, so you're saying you watch that show.....ALONE!!!....and voluntarily!!!!????? :rotfl: ;) ;)
