Well, I am retiring early tonight. The ankle is sore after this crazy week and I haven't been sleeping well at all. I think I may take a little snooze med tonight.

I love seeing all those sights from the little park out West! You had a very cute Tinker Bell in the parade. Ours was a little strange looking, but still sorta cute. Actually, I thought it could be a boy???

Glad you had a good vacation! I'll keep good thoughts for the kids and their tonsillectomies. Megan actually starts school on the 22nd! Boy we start early out here!!

**Kevin and I also swam with the stingrays at Grand Cayman on our honeymoon. Some of them were as big as my kitchen table, if not bigger, they were so cool!!!!

Rose - You can pet and feed stingrays at Sea World in Florida too. They remove their barb to protect the public.

I'm loving seeing all the pictures. I always tell DH he takes the *best* pictures -- so what if he doesn't like Disney, he has to go just to be the photographer because he always gets the best candid shots when I'm usually oblivious to everything (or in the middle of it dealing with kids). He just says, he just basically starts clicking away constantly and it's pure luck with what shots he gets. Having the digitial camera is fantastic because even if there are a bunch of shots that we don't really care for, we can just erase those.

so far we have been lucky on the heat and humidity. last night no wind and we felt it. i slept on the couch downstairs. it is 74 right now and only 7:30 am. i have a feeling we are not going to escape the heat today.....
i know, i'll pretend i am in orlando in the heat

my boys are doing pretty good now. thank you to all who inquired. i appreciate it very much.

i really have enjoyed tiiggggeeerrnnn's pictures and report, she did a great job on her first tr didn't she!

i have always wanted to go to DL but never have, so until then, i will look at the pics of it and dream.

slo, i think you have a winner with that new gal. if she is happy, then you are happy!

Morning all. I think we'll try going to a small water park today. Our pool has some algea and I can't get the stuff to clear. I will have to take a sample to a pool place and let them tell me what to put in it. We'll never survive the next 4 weeks without the pool.
Everyone, glad you enjoyed the TR and pix. It was fun to go back and relive it again.
Hope you all keep cool today. Good luck with that Mac. Our air has been running non-stop in the afternoons.

Well, we were supposed to go to the movies this morning at Marcus theatre(their $2.50 kids fest) but Lauren and myself woke up REALLY late!!
So now we plan to go see Underdog tomorrow!!! Kids are excited!

slo Glad to hear that the new employee enjoyed her first day at work! Enjoy your lunch today!!! I had a job years ago where my boss always made me go to those lunches for him!! Anything to do with the commerce or networking groups he joined. He hated going! So I got a lot of free lunches.

Going to eat at Coral Reef for the first time....for lunch.

Hunter did something very funny and cute last night. It was almost bed time and he was walking into his bathroom. He pops out of the bathroom really quick and out of nowhere yells "We need to pack really quick!!" and then he ran back into the bathroom!!! I guess he's a little excited about going on vacation!!!

only 91 outside and almost as hot inside the house.

we have a temp gauge in the bedroom..........so that's how i know.
but then, i already knew it was hot in the house!

Tiggerrn- We are settled in. We moved a little at a time, over the course of a week. It kind of was a pain bc it seemed to drag on, but it gave us time to unpack a bit at a time.
Slo- Yep! All unpacked and settled. My friend came by and was really impressed bc she has been in her house for over a year and stll has boxes in her dining room!
Bunchkin- No school for me this fall. My major was closed and at first they thought I could be a general student. Then they said it would be too hard to switch from general to Eng Ed. I need to wait until Spring to start in my major. That leaves me job hunting!
I love our new neighborhood. We can walk to lots of fun stuff...food, museum, theaters! Ds is lazy and thinks everything is far. Hopefully, his high metabolism keeps up or he will be in trouble. Anyway, better go ref. DS has a friend sleeping over. They just watched Karate Kid and I hear lots of "hi-ya"s coming from up there!

Paint glad to hear you are well. "Hi-Ya's" are never good. I remember Alex and a friend were watching teenage mutant ninja turtles and his firiend said something rude. Alex did a side kick and his little friend flew.

Thanks for the link there Bunchkin. Cute stuff is right. And hey, I see your ticker mentions the doombuggies! Have you heard the new plans for the HM when it opens. There will be whole new staircase scenes, an upgraded Bride (better than DL) and a cool floating Madame Leota head like Disneyland! There is talk it will be cooler than DL. Oh yeah, they also mentioned the busts where they seem to stare at you from every direction and the room where it begins to storm and rain outside. So cool! I'm excited for you and I totally understand Hunter being just too excited!!

hersey I can't imagine Alex "hi-ya'ing" anyone!!! Every time I see him he is sooooo quiet!!
And no, Hunter has not started packing yet!! Although, he does ask me every day when he can start packing!!
Today when he asked I told him that I would start packing after they start school.......when my peace and quiet time starts!!!


Sam I did hear that there was some cool changes in store for HM!!! We just love that attraction/ride!!! And we loved the one in DL too!!! Love the bride's scene there!
So I look forward to seeing the new changes!!!

It was a HOT, humid, but LOW CROWD day! It was FABULOUS!!! They went on all the BIG coasters and water rides 1-3 times each! We walked around the whole park just a little over 2 times. We were also in the trolley in the parade to end the day!

Just got back in town from Wisconsin but am going back tomorrow. We went to the H-5 concert last night and had a blast!
