Good afternoon all!!!
Becky

to your 7 year old Kyle. I have a now 7 year old Kyle as well.
DS party didn't get off to a good start. It was to begin at 5 and last til 7. We arrived at 5 along with all his friends, and noone was there.

So there we stood outside the bowling alley with 10 little kids who were more than ready to bowl. We tried calling -- no answer. The police were driving by so we had them check for another number to reach the owner at. They had none. I had purchased an ice cream cake, and needless to say it was quickly turning to soup. We had just decided (after waiting 25 minutes) to walk over to the park and just picnic and play and get Little Cesars Pizza when the bartender pulls up. She never said a word, just opened the door and went in and started turning on lights and stuff. So we went in and I went up and said, "The time was 5 was it not?" She said oh, I had car trouble and thought the manager would be here and I tried to reach someone to be sure, but noone answered. I got here just as soon as my car got started" Never an apology.
Once we got the party started the kids had a great time. We went a little over our time. Then as I was paying the balance, the bartender was like, I only charged for 1 hour of bowling. I was like, well that is the least you can do since you were 30 min late.

I really wanted to say a few other choice things, but I had little kids with me.
Slo, Kyle turned 7 May 8th. It was such a busy time then so he had to wait a bit for his friend party.
Sounds like the store is coming along. I'm with Bunchkin on the little chair that folds out to a couch. That sounds like a great idea for Katie.
Paint, how goes the packing? Will they pay for the repairs to the cistern or just close if off? Most older homes have them. My in-laws still use theirs even though they are not supposed to. Heaven forbid you cheat your town water bill by using fresh rainwater from your own supply.

My parents had one, but when it had trouble, noone would repair it since they were not supposed to use it anymore, so my dad just closed it off. I think there is some stuff stored in that room now. I remember as a kid always thinking how cool it would be to turn it into an indoor swimming pool.
Well, kiddies will be getting off the bus shortly so I better get a bit more done before they arrive.
Later
