**Does the green light go off when you aren't online? If not, then my green light is on all the time too
As I know it, if you log off of the DIS OR shut your computer off/down, your light is off, no matter the colors we choose/see. In my case, I never log off of the DIS OR shut my 'puter down so, I chose invisible so people don't think I'm here and ignoring them - aka, being rude. ;) I wouldn't want that!

WOWZA!!! CONGRATS!!!!!

For a few years, I just accepted that the board upgrades were for the sole purpose of screwing up my post count.
It was!!! :rotfl: Just kidding!!!:lmao:

Did all you current green lites see this.....

G'morning to all those coming on..........

:coffee:

Good Morning all. I'm back.I've been trying to read all your posts. So much going on. Sounds like everyone is pretty busy. It was alittle chilly yesterday but not to complain cause I know pretty soon I'll complain it's too hot. Thanks everyone for your kind words. I really appreciated them all. I guess everyone gets the "poor me" every now and then. Just an update the funeral was a tribute to what a wonderful person she was. Her poor husband couldn't come because he is in ICU due to something unrelated. So do keep them in your prayers. The grandparents are caring for the son right now until he gets out of the hospital.

Slo congrats on the store. It sounds like everythings coming together.

Becky I think I'm going to participate in a neighborhood garage sale. Want to through anything in?

Everyone have a blessed day.:flower3:

I never got my flowers planted yesterday - it was to darn cold :cold:
But, I took advantage of the cold day and cleaned and cleaned and cleaned. I haven't done this since right before Easter:rolleyes: and now the house seems nice and clean again (even though it didn't look dirty before, but I knew it was:rolleyes: )

Chris - Thanks for the congrats!!!! :goodvibes
**I am very close to the Illinois border. When you want to come to the store, I will give you directions through a PM :thumbsup2
**I'm sorry you had a bad week at work :guilty: I hope things there get better for you real soon

Rose - :wave2:

Mac - So many hugs to you my friend!!!

Kim - I never log off The DIS or turn off my computer either :sad2: I think I will start logging off so when I say "green light out" it really goes out:rotfl:
**Thanks for the congrats!!!! :goodvibes

poohlover - I'm glad the funeral was nice (as hard as it is to say that) and paid tribute to how wonderful your friend was:) How sad that her DH couldn't go:guilty: I will keep him in my prayers!!!
**Thanks for the congrats!! :goodvibes

Well, I gotta get going - I have a PT appointment this morning
Have a good day today everyone!!

Great Pix! Thanks for sharing!

Hi Everyone,
Great outside, huh! Shouldn't be here on the computer, that's for sure.

I was wondering???
You know how you can click on my User name and it presents you with options?? Well, I put my Ebay selling page under my homepage. Is this allowed? I don't want to break any DIS rules. I saw another Disfriend of mine had her business home page there so that's what gave me the idea.

Thanks!
Have a great day!
Gotta run. Have a total of 4 little ones running around with me today (helping out a friend).

I'm popping in for a quick hello this afternoon.

My PT's gave me the green light to not come in any more:woohoo: As happy as that makes me, I will miss them:guilty: I enjoyed visiting with them every time I went in.

Katie had her first time being at the store with me for a couple of hours this afternoon. She got a little antsy, but I think that's because of the chair she had. I need to get her a nice bean bag chair so she can relax more - she probably would have fallen asleep if she had something more comfortable to sit in.

Aces - So great to see you!!!!! :grouphug: The pictures are great and the baby is beautiful!!!! :goodvibes Please come visit more often, we would love to see you!!!
**To answer your question - we haven't see Amy here in quite some time:sad2: If you talk to her, tell her that we miss her.

HERSEY - :wave2:

Debbie - I don't know if that's breaking any DIS rules or not:confused: I would PM Crissup and ask him to ask his wife CarolAnn, she's a moderator and would probably know.

Well, I gotta go get Stephanie ready for dance
Have a good rest of the day everyone!!!

Good afternoon everyone. Beautiful day today. Played with pup outside for a while. Enjoyed the weather. Having DS friend party tonight at our local bowling alley. Just a few friends, some pizza and ice cream cake. I picked up some of those candles that relight when you try to blow them out. Can't wait to see his reaction.:rotfl2:
Just doing a little :laundy: today and picking up a bit. Tomorrow is the last cookie sale day at the school. Winding down.
Hey, what is with the smilies? Some of them are showing up as only red x's.
Still waiting on cheap airfare to CA for this summer. SW is up to June 30th on dings now. Hope something comes up soon.
Well, better make up the treat bags quick. I actually got squirt guns and bug nets instead of candy for each of the kids this time.
Later

Hi there! Hope you all had great weekends. I did some shopping (more window shopping than anything else!) and had dinner with bf and some friends. Many margaritas were consumed...strawberry, watermelon, and raspberry! Sunday, I got my tennis lesson. Scary. I am kind of like Bam Bam. I don't know my own strength. I kept hitting it outside of the court! We then took a sveral mile walk through the state park, followed by dinner at Old Country Buffet. Good thing I had all that exercise first!
Slo- Sounds like the store is going well!
Tigger- Good luck with the party!
Bunchkin- Hope you enjoyed Shrek. XH took the kids to see it, but it broke half way through!
Hersey- The cistern is no longer functioning. We are expecting to hear from the seller about the repairs by Friday.
Aces- Cute kiddies! Looks like they had fun!
Gotta' get the kids in bed! Night!

:surfweb:

Wow....I slept really really good last night:)
I wish I could have slept for another couple of hours.

Tiggerrnnnn - How was your DS's birthday party? I bet it was fun!!! :cool1:
When was his birthday?

paint - Sounds like you had a great weekend :goodvibes

Well, I gotta run and take Stephanie to school today.
She's taking her birthday treats today because her birthday's in July - they are Krispy Kreme donuts:thumbsup2
Have a good day today!!!

Good Morning all!!

To all who asked about Shrek the Third:
We really liked the movie. Lots of laughs and silliness!!
The kids brought along their stuffed Shrek they got from Build A Bear.

When we went to BAB last week they didn't have any of the baby ogres left. But they were in this weekend. Didn't get them though since I had already bought them the Shrek and a Donkey costume which can go over any BAB.

Sunday our Brownie Troop had our annual mother/daughter outing. The girls all decided to go to Libby Lu and then to lunch at Ruby Tuesdays.
Everyone had a great time!!
I'll have to post pictures later of Lauren all made up.

slo Have you thought about getting Katie one of those chairs for the store that flip out to become a little couch so she can rest if she gets tired.
Sounds like you have a lot going on for the store's opening! I hope everything works out smoothly!!!! :goodvibes

Tiggerrn How was DS's b-day party?? I bet he had a fun time with his friends!!!

paintnolish I hope everything works out ok with the new house!!
Sounds like your Sunday was super duper busy!!!

Hi to everyone!!! :wave2:

I got to run for now! Lots to do today!!!!

My in-laws are in town and gave us no prior notice they were coming!!!!
They just called up DH on Sunday afternoon and was like "surprise we're here"!!
Mom in-law's cancer has returned and I think she has it in her mind this is her last trip here. She just found out last week it returned, for the third time, and then they booked a flight here spur of the moment.
And father in-law got sick since being here. His health is not good AT ALL, especially since he's 86 yrs old. :sad2:
We really can NOT believe they even came out here!
Health wise neither of them should be traveling!!!!!! :sad2:

Becky I think I'm going to participate in a neighborhood garage sale. Want to through anything in?

Maybe when is it? I would have to see if I could get stuff organized enough.

Today is an insanly busy day -- actually the next several days seem to be.

Today is Kyle's 7th birthday! :cool1: Hard to believe he turned 7 today -- of course that sounds really weird to me as he's in 1st grade and just now turning 7. That's what happens when you are in the younger group.

We took in Chips Ahoy cookies with the colored candy pieces. He has some kids in his class that have peanut allergies and it didn't *say* anything on the bag regarding peanuts. I also talked to one mom who's DD does have a peanut allergy and she has eaten them before. Although, she's not the one with the severe allergy. It was nice because when I asked Kyle what he wanted to take in he told me chocolate chip cookies. Love that! Usually they are wanting some elaborate thing that I have to bake & decorate. Ahh...he's my simple kid though.

Then later tonight I have to run over to the Middle School and sign my 10 year old up for his French Horn for next year.

Then come back and it's Cub Scout move up day (I don't know what it's called.) I know in GS it would be bridging so basically the same thing.

Poor Kyle -- that's how he gets to spend his birthday. :lmao:

We are having his party on Saturday and I still have 4 people who are mystery if they are coming or not. I had to call people yesterday since the RSVP deadline was Sunday and I still has 12 people who hadn't called me. I have 2 that I have no way to contact though so ??? and the other 2 I told them if I didn't hear from them I'm assuming they aren't coming. I just got another call to add one person to the yes list if it wasn't too late.

Thursday is DD's last choir concert -- I can not wait though as she got a special singing part. She is part of a group of 6 kids singing a pull-out part of a song. She has tried out every single time whenever there were any solo's/extra parts and she has never gotten it until now. I would have given up a long time ago. Then the extra "show choir" is performing & I can't wait to see that.

Poohlovermom -- you will be there Thursday too right?

The rest of the week is just my normal crazy schedule. I have to get started baking a birthday cake here soon though. I have no idea what I'm making just yet though. :lmao: I know he wants vanilla/chocolate combo but I don't want to make anything fancy since it's just for *us* as opposed to for a party. Plus, I'm not even sure when we are going to be able to eat it -- probably right before bed to have everyone together tonight! :lmao:

Hi Everyone!

Yes, I echo Bunchkin's sentiments on Shrek The Third. Very cute, very funny, lots of jokes that will go over the kids' heads but will definitely make the adults chuckle. I wouldn't mind seeing it again actually. I might wait for it to go on the $5 Buck Club and go back and see it again.

Slo: I slept really good last night too. It was really hard to get up. The coffee's really not doing it for me either. Especially since I didn't rinse my mug real good and I can taste the soap. Bleech.

Becky: My daugther is at the end of first grade and she's not even 7 yet. She has a month to go. She definitely at the end of the young school group. She hasn't even lost a baby tooth yet. She's really bummed because all the other kids in her class have lost at least one by now, but nothing for her. I tell her it's a good thing! I would like her to lose one soon though before she stops believing in the tooth fairy for pete's sake!!

Well, nothing new with me I guess. Looking forward to a long weekend, that's for sure!!

Have a good sunshiney day everyone!!

Sam

She hasn't even lost a baby tooth yet. She's really bummed because all the other kids in her class have lost at least one by now, but nothing for her. I tell her it's a good thing! I would like her to lose one soon though before she stops believing in the tooth fairy for pete's sake!!

Well....I wouldn't know if that is actually age related. ;) I was older when I lost my first baby tooth. I ended up with a lot pulled when I was a teen due to cavities so who knows how long they would have stayed.

My DD is 13 and still has 12 baby teeth! :scared1: She will be getting her 2nd phase of braces on when she loses the rest of her baby teeth and the adult teeth come in. I'm thinking she might be 20 before that happens. ;) At least with having full head x-ray they did for her first set of braces, they counted baby teeth/permanent teeth still in the gums to make sure they were a matched set & they are so we know she has the adult teeth up there they just haven't decided to make an appearance yet. It will be interesting to see how long they let it go until they decide to start pulling them or ???

Tell her she's not the only one. My DD's birthday is in March so she is right in the middle of the age group and was toward the end of 1st before she lost her first tooth. Have you ever seen the Arthur episode regarding that? He hasn't lost a tooth and I think he's in 3rd? I forget but it addresses this.
