I gotta tell you all - I was able to make my double baked potatoes, and they turned out wonderful!!!! I couldn't believe how good they were They were so easy to make too (just time consuming since you have to let the potatoes cook first). I can hardly wait to make them again sometime!!!

Leigh - Do you have an recent updates on your new home? I bet you are getting so excited!!!

Good morning everyone!!

Man is it windy outside!! I cracked the front door open to look out for the school bus the door took off with me hanging on to it!!! It was a struggle to get it shut again. Needless to say the kids thought it was funny! I also got to yell at the boys at the bus stop for playing in the street!!! They run in front of cars and don't look where they are going. And the one ring leader of them has a grandmother who sits in her car by the bus stop and she never says anything to them. When she has, Lauren has told me that her grandson tells her to shut up and that's she's stupid!!!! Can you believe that??? That would be the day I'd let a child of mine tell me those things, even if he was my grandson!!!!

I'm supposed to be taking my van to the dealership today to be getting worked on. I don't feel like it, but I gotta do it!! It just takes up a huge chunk of the day!!

They sell those little hand warmers at Home Depot too.
Hunter is better today. But most of yesterday afternoon and evening was filled with off and on stomach cramps. I felt so bad for him.


Donna I have had my fair share of major health issues. It really stinks!
I never got anything "normal": no chicken pox, no measles, no broken bones, etc.


Kim Thanks for asking about Hunter. Like I said to slo, he is doing much better today!
DH is a major pain in the keister!!

Debbie I've been picked on for having a smaller siggie than you!!! And once they notice you, they will keep an eye on you!! It's just the name of the game. Get rid of your weather tickers and add back a smaller picture of your DD!

We have not been there but Geoff knows some of the life guards.. They say it is a fun place.


Well Geoff got a Euro history culture project today. he is supposed to dine at an eruo type restuarant.. so I immediately thought of Biergarten.. think I could convine DH that Geoff and I need to go for a weekend to WDW so her can have a "real" experience to write about??

Leigh - Do you have an recent updates on your new home? I bet you are getting so excited!!!

I don't have anything new about the house itself. I have just about wrapped up the insurance, so that's one less thing to do. And I bought a mattress Sunday. I got a Sealy Posturepedic, plush, not pillowtop. I thought the pillowtops were a little too soft. I didn't get the best one they had, because I thought the next lowest was a little more comfy. I had tried out the more expensive one longer, though, so hopefully I won't regret it. But if I do, I can upgrade to the other one within 30 days, so hopefully I would know by then.

Bunchkin and other JBJ fans - Jon Bon Jovi is going to be one of the guest stars/coaches on American Idol this season.

Hi all-
Sorry, haven't posted lately . I guess I've been busy on the phone,etc.
My aunt did pass away last night My dad was able to be with her before she passed. Actually alot of my cousin's friends and other family members were at the CCU in the hosp, when she passed, tho I wasn't there last night.
Sounds like the wake is Sunday night so far and the funeral I think is on Monday.
It is quite sad my aunt died,as she really wasn't sick before her major stroke.
According to my dad, my aunt was not taking good care of herself, she didn't want to go to the doctor to get checked-up, etc. My aunt has been a hermit the past yr and lived a very sedentary lifestyle the past yr. She did live with my cousin and her family in an in-law type of room in the house, so it wasn't like my aunt lived alone. I guess my aunt just didn't want to take her pills and was in denile of her legs hurting, etc. I'm guessing my aunt may have died from blood clots in the leg that dislodged and went to her brain, as well as blod clots in her carotid artery(in the neck).
I guess this is a lesson for any woman over 40 to take a baby aspirin everyday, as to not develop blood clots.

Anyways, sorry for all the sad news from me. I'm doing ok, tho.
I will defintely miss my aunt's cooking and her crocheting, as she loved doing both
