These scenery pics are what I took in back of Chestnut Mountain ski resort, near Galena, Il. DH and I stayed there for a family wedding about a month ago.

i'm back now from the second trip.

15 days at the end of sept thru columbus day.
home for the week and off again last friday to williamsburg for 5 days.

i enjoy living out of a suitcase.

Yes DH decided that Eric could go on the cruise.. I am so glad I think it is a great opportunity for him.

i went to williamsburg, yorktown and jamestowne.
it was the special event weekend at york town this past weekend.

mr mac and i do civil war and members of the chicago round table.

every once in awhile we get into the revolutionary war.
mr mac likes it but not as much as i do.

trying to get back into the swing of real life. going to work tomorrow and friday and some next week.


work is such an ugly word.

It's nice that you and Mr Mac have a common interest in the civil war. To bad he isn't into Disney. Work is what brings us the money so we can play.

and no, it is not really bad mr mac isn't into disney.
he wouldn't keep up with my pace.
i go commando style from dawn until midnight.
he gets tired faster than i do.

I can't wait for chirstmas because we are spending it down at WDW, but here is my problem. How do I convince my DW to fly back down 2 weeks later and go on a 4 day cruise with friends. I know she wants to go but I need just that little extra bit to push her over the edge. I've used all of the reasons I could think of, but there is one out there that I need to get her to go.

We are finally getting rain after not having any forever and I just want to go to sleep.

I have a lot of things to get done so we can be ready to go to Minnesota on the 4th. I just do not feel like I am ready. Way too much to do.

Well we made it past Wednesday in to Thursday night one more day till the weekend

All I could say is that a cruise is a trip of a lifetime..time for you and her to really enjoy each other's company.. a special time for both of you.. ( works with my DH anyway)
