come true from the YOMD people! I won't ruin her story, but it is pretty cool!

Busy, busy!!
, we had an early breakfast at Chef Mickey's and headed to Downtown Disney for our last purchases and to relax a little. Our Magical Express pickup time was 3:15 pm, so we arrived back at the hotel around 2:45 to do some luggage rearranging before we had to leave. We were ready to go around 3:00 and, since it was such a nice day, we decided to go wait outside. A bus had just left so my friend and I were the only people outside. A woman with a Disney Cruise Line clipboard came by, said hi, and asked if we were waiting for our bus. We told her yes and talked a little bit back and forth about the weather and such.
She said as a part of the YOAMD and in appreciation for staying with them, they would like to send us to the aiport in style. We were just about ready to burst! She wrote us up a certificate, took our picture in front of the limo, and we were off in style. The driver was great acting almost like a tour guide. We just sat back, had a drink, and enjoyed our ride.
Neat story LisaPezz! What hotel were you staying at again?
Morning everyone. Have to go to work for a meeting today. Not looking forward to going out in the cold again. Would love to hide away at home.
Hope all of your DHs have a good time at the auto show.
Enjoy your kids only nights.
Tonight is good TV night for me-Survivor, Greys, and ER!!!!![]()
Hopefully can get the kids to do homework early. Get baths early, and eat dinner early. Homemade burger night tonight!!! Kids love Survivor so they are looking forward to a family TV night.
Stay warm everyone. Anyone got their 1st full gas bill or electric bill yet for this cold period? I'm not looking forward to that sticker shock![]()
We stayed at POP and it was a wonderful surprise! Have fun with TV night Hello all! Sadly, I am back from Dis to the freezing cold. I didn't want to leave yesterday. It was so nice, sunny, and warm! I see that you've already received a teaser from my sister about my dream come true, so I'll share the story of how and what happened.
My friend and I had a couple of great days at Dis. The weather wasn't the warmest, but I'm sure not complaining about only have to wear a sweatshirt and jeans! The few days we were there everytime we saw someone with a dream fastpass or something, we always thought how shocked we would be and how much fun it would be to get approached with something. We went through our trip not really expecting anything, just focusing on having a good time.
Yesterday, our last and final day, we had an early breakfast at Chef Mickey's and headed to Downtown Disney for our last purchases and to relax a little. Our Magical Express pickup time was 3:15 pm, so we arrived back at the hotel around 2:45 to do some luggage rearranging before we had to leave. My friend and I were then sitting on the bench complaining about how neither one of our boyfriends were going to pick us up at the airport when a big white limo pulls up. Of course this sends us into a laughing discussion about how the guys must have felt so bad that they sent us a limo to take to the aiport. As we watch it pull around the drive, it stops with the passenger door right behind us. So, we turn around to see who the lucky person getting out is going to be. Just then the woman with the clipboard, who had just kind of been pacing around since we talked to her last, approached us and asked if we would like a limo ride to the airport. Our reply? Both of our mouths dropped open and we said, are you kidding?!She said as a part of the YOAMD and in appreciation for staying with them, they would like to send us to the aiport in style. We were just about ready to burst! She wrote us up a certificate, took our picture in front of the limo, and we were off in style. The driver was great acting almost like a tour guide. As soon as I can get my pictures on the computer I'll put up the one of us in front of our limo. Hope everyone has a great day!
YEAH Lisa!!It's really great that we can afford to take these trips and enjoy our friends and families. That's a blessing right there.

I probably would have opened my mouth and said to her, "so, are you here for a colonoscopy"? I'm sure I would get a mean look from her

How was your date night with your son? What did you do?
Congrats on your limo ride - that's awesome!!!!

My cousin and her son (9 months) were over. She has adolescent onset epilepsy and has been on medication for years. Well, she found out her body can't handle her meds anymore and she has to go completely off them. She is scared to death! She can't be alone now for months while they wean her off the medication plus she is paranoid her seizures will come back. There is absolutely no driving for either. Thank goodness she lives downtown so she can get to a lot just by walking. She is pretty bummed! I feel so bad for her!
I have epilepsy. I had my first seizure when I was 12, just after I moved here. (I think it was all the stress, but that's just my opinion.) I've only had 5 or 6 seizures. They tried a lot of different medications, and then finally got me regulated with Depakote. Then when I was a freshman in h.s., I think, they decided that they should try to get me off the meds so that I wouldn't have to take them my whole life. That summer I had a really hard time eating and got down to like 88 lbs.
I just couldn't keep anything down. I was also going to visit my old hometown for the first time, and I was nervous about that, so part of it could have been anxiety, but I think the main source of the problem was withdrawal from the depakote. Anyway, I finally got over the eating thing, and then I was fine for almost two years. At two years they would consider me cured. But then a little under the two years, I had another seizure. They put me back on the depakote, and I've been on it ever since. They check my blood levels and liver function every year, and so far so good.
), I have to either switch to something else, or go off the meds completely, because depakote has a high risk of birth defects.
